During four years, both have sought the perfect terroir to go through with their project. The Seña vineyard is located in the western part of the Aconcagua valley, 41 kilometres away from the Pacific Ocean and 100 kilometres North-west from Santiago, the Chilean capital. Thanks to its location, Seña’s climate is cooler than any other red wine producing area. However, it is warm enough for every grape varietal to reach its optimal ripeness. It is in 1995 that Seña is bottled for the first time and it has been critically acclaimed ever since. The estate is now at its ultimate accolade, as it obtained the perfect score of 100 points from James Suckling. For the sake of quality, the Seña vineyard is now conducted in biodynamics. “Stunning aromas of black currant, stone, blueberry and licorice. Also iodine. Floral. Perfumed. Full body, fantastic density of fruit and ripe tannins. It goes on for minutes on the palate with such energy and focus. Touch of chewiness on the finish.
