Introducing… girls who code
Girls Who Code have released FREE weekly Girls Who Code unplugged and online activities.
We know that parents, educators, and girls are looking for support and connection during these challenging times. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Girls Who Code is making computer science educational activities available for download, free of charge, to anyone who wants to access them. Learn to code from the comfort of your home!

Celebrity Masterclasses for Young People Studying at Home
Celebrities across the country have risen to the challenge to use their expertise to support young
people. Have a look at these and take part if you’ve completed your work on Doddle and want
something extra to keep you busy.
9:00am: Wake up to P.E. with Joe Wicks and do some exercise!
10.00am: Maths lessons with the Countdown Queen Carol Vorderman
11.00am: Comedian and Author David Walliams reads stories for kids!
12.00pm: Lunchtime cooking classes with Jamie Oliver #KitchenBuddies
1.00pm: Making Music at home with Myleene Klass (no instrument required!)
2.00pm: History class with Dan Snow (free subscription for 30-days)
3.00pm Art Class with Noel Fielding - head to his Twitter for a new art challenge every day!
4.00pm: Adventure Class with Ben Fogle.
Things to do
Being a teenager at this time can be tough; although the idea of no school can seem amazing, the loss of routine can sometimes be difficult to handle.
Even an hour a day doing something productive can help boost confidence, combat boredom and make a meaningful difference to a young person's life.

A robust vocabulary improves all areas of communication — listening, speaking, reading and writing. Vocabulary is critical to your success and we are therefore going to share with you some words for you to learn and start using!
