FROM ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY Lent is a call not just to “give up something” but more

important to “give something for the poor.” Wherever you

live in the parish, there are poor families within walking

distance of your home. When in need, they ring the rectory

bell. They are, in effect, ringing your doorbell.

Last month, through your gifts, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul was able to assist 35 families providing $4,050 for rent, $601.18 for utility, food and other bills. May God bless you for your generosity!

THIRD SUNDAY IN LENT

Éxodo 20, 1-17: La ley fue dada por Moisés

Salmo 18: Señor, tú tienes palabras de vida eterna

1 Corintios 1, 22-25: Predicamos a Cristo crucificado

esos sentimientos gobiernen nuestra vida! ¡Hay sentimientos que son muy

malos consejeros!
