INT. WORK OFFICE - THURSDAY , 13:45PM.

Scott is working but starts to become distracted by his co-worker Natalie. She doesn't notice him as she is to busy flirting with Glenn. They are laughing and Scott becomes insanely jealous. He starts to clench his fists and bangs them of the table. He picks up some papers and heads for the photocopier.

INT. WORK OFFICE - Thursday , 14:20PM

Scott comes back to the desk and drops the papers down. He is still annoyed about Natalie flirting with Glenn. He watches glenn until Angela , the boss , distracts him by dropping a folder of papers in front of him.

ANGELA

Get it done by Monday.

SCOTT

I do have a life outside of work Angela.

ANGELA

So do I Scott. Surely you should of known what you was signing up to before you applied for the job.

SCOTT

Ill get it done and ready for you by Monday.

Angela walks of. He becomes stressed and puts his face into his hands. He then unlocks the draw to his desk. He opens the draw. Inside are scattered photos of Natalie. He runs his fingers down the photo at the top of the pile. Someone walks past and he quickly closes up the draw.

EXT. STAFF ROOM - THURSDAY , 16:32PM

Scott is in the staff room making a coffee. Natalie enters to get her lunch from the fridge.

NATALIE

(Making Tea)

I’m so parched. You wouldn't believe the day I'm having.

SCOTT

(Chuckles) You can say that again. Ive been working here for five years and I'm still not used to that fucking

printer.

NATALIE

(giggles) It is a dodgy printer. Are we really that cheap we cannot invest in a modern one?

SCOTT

It seems that way. I think i might put forward half of my next pay cheque for a newer model.

NATALIE

(Laughs)

I was hoping to finish early today. I've Got a charity fundraiser to go to.

SCOTT

Really? I do a lot of them. Which charities do you..

Scott gestures awkwardly . Glenn walks in and interrupts. Scott becomes annoyed.

GLENN

Fancy catching you here.

NATALIE

(Laughs and hits him) Are you following me?

GLENN

Well actually I've been trying to find you for the past 20 minutes.

NATALIE

Oh really. Why?

GLENN

I was wondering if you was ok for dinner tonight?

NATALIE

Well I'm going to be at a charity fundraiser at half 7.

GLENN

How does dinner at 7 tomorrow evening sound?

NATALIE

(Laughs) Great!

Scott storms out

GLENN

Whats his problem?

INT. WORK DESK - THURSDAY 5PM

Scott is typing on his keyboard. He sees Natalie and glenn walking towards his desk. He sees Natalie carrying

his mug of coffee.

NATALIE

Scott. You left your coffee.

(Has a vision of throwing the hot coffee in glenn’s face. It goes back to reality.)

NATALIE

Scott your Coffee.

SCOTT

Oh..thanks i would lose my head if it wasn't attached.

(He looks up to see she is already gone. He is disappointed)

Int. HIS HOUSE - THURSDAY 9PM.

Scott is sitting on his bed. He is staring at the wall of pictures in front of him. He then stands up and starts ripping them down.

All sound for this scene will be muted.

classical music played.

SCOTT

(Yelling)

YOU FUCKING BITCH! I WILL MURDER HIM! THEN I WILL MURDER YOU. AFTER ALL THESE GODAME FUCKING YEARS YOU NOTICE ME NOW! WHY CANT YOU SEE? IM THE ONE WHO WILL LOVE YOU.

(Smashes things of the cabinet) YOU STUPID WHORE! LOVE ME! LOVE ME!

(PUNCHES WALL THEN SITS DOWN ON HIS BED. HE THEN SEES A SCRUNCHED UP PICTURE OF HER ON THE FLOOR. HE PICKS IT UP

AND STRAIGHTENS IT OUT. HE STARES AND SMILES)

INT. WORK OFFICE - FRIDAY 17:35PM

Natalie is staying over to finish work in the office. Scott is in the toilets looking at himself in the mirror.

Jenny is Natalie’s friend.

JENNY

Are you coming Natalie?

NATALIE

Ugh no. Ive got piles of paper work to file.

JENNY

Ok. See you Monday morning hun.

Jenny exits. Natalie looks at the clock.

NATALIE

(Sighs)

I don’t paid enough for this shit.

INT. MENS TOILETS - FRIDAY 17:40PM

Scott is in the toilets looking at himself in the mirror. He starts taking his prescribed pills. He then starts to slap himself. He leans on the sink breathing heavy. He then looks up at the mirror and a faint smile appears. He then walks out and starts walking up to the office area where Natalie is sitting.

INT. OFFICE - FIRDAY 17:43PM

Natalie is still doing her work. Scott enters.

SCOTT

Natalie your still here. I thought everyone left.

NATALIE

No. Not me. You should know i practically live here.

SCOTT

Better you then me.

NATALIE

Nice to see you to. Besides Im actually glad you here Scott. I could do with some help.

SCOTT

Sure. Anything for you.

(Moves closer to her)

NATALIE

Thank you Scott your a life saver.

SCOTT

Well I hope you weren’t planning on doing anything important after work.

(Laughs)

NATALIE

(Stressed. Moving Papers)

Your really going to make a joke out of this? This isn't funny Scott.

SCOTT

Do you know what i find funny?

(he puts her hair behind her ear)

The fact i thought you generally liked me.

(he pulls her hair back )

You played with my emotions for the last time Natalie.

NATALIE

Scott let go of me.

SCOTT

Fate brought us together Natalie. What about that don't you understand?

NATALIE

But Scott ever since i started here you've kept me sane, but i don't think of you in that way. I thought you was

my friend. You've been more of a friend to me then Glenn-

SCOTT

Here we go again with fucking glenn. Do you like him? Is there something Glenn has that I don’t?

NATALIE

You think i like glenn. Jesus Scott he's a dick. Have you seen the way he treats women?

( Her finger edges for the hardback book on the table)

SCOTT

So what went on in the kitchen the other day. You was all over him .

NATALIE

I… don't think thats any of your business scott.

SCOTT

Are you lying to me Natalie because i -

Natalie grabs the book and hits him over the head. he falls of the desk onto the floor with the book. She runs to the lift doors. The doors close and she goes up. She

pulls her phone out and tries to ring the police. unfortunately she has no signal. You then see him running up the stairs and stands outside the lift on the second floor. The doors open and she is shocked to see him. She starts pressing the buttons to go back down in the lift. He pulls her out the lift. The lift doors close and it

ends.

Fades Out.
