2. 2. I created a basic template from Da front.com
3. 3. Print screened this and cropped to just see the volts
4. 4. I created a new layer and then using the paint brush I created white spots over the top of the mast head
5. 5. Then using the smudge tool I created a flam look
6. 6. This was the finished result after working for 30 mins with the smudge tool
7. 7. However I found that it may be an idea to add colour to make the mast head stand out to my viewers
8. 8. Therefore I created a new layer, and repeated the method of adding red and yellow paint spots the using the brush tool and then the smudge tool. Creating a more naturalistic flame
9. 9. I then entered the mast head into my final document.
10. 10. I did not need to resize the mast head.
11. 11. I still thought that the colour was not bright enough. I created a new layer and added smudged red and yellow paint ink.
12. 12. My survey said they did not see the link between volts and flames There fore I cut away the mast to create a lighting bolt effect. Using the lacasso tool
13. 13. Once selected using the paint brushhighlight in white
