Editing the title for my college magazine. Here I was changing the font and colour in order to make the text look unique from the coverlines, as this is conventional for magazine covers.

Here I was inserting the barcode for my magazine cover, as this is conventional.

Creating a puff on the front cover – I did this by making a circle (and coloured it yellow so it stood out) and then inserting a text box within it to show create the incentive.

Editing the main coverline. It is conventional for the main coverline to have a larger font than the other coverlines (but still smaller than the masthead) and also for it to relate to the main image.

Importing images onto contents page. Here I was aligning the images into one section in order for them to look neat and leave space for the article columns.

Writing in articles/page numbers. This was before writing the article descriptions underneath. It is also conventional for magazine contents pages to have 3 – 4 columns, which is what I have done here.

This is the complete edit of my magazine contents page. In this picture you can see I have also added an editor’s note (which is often conventional) and descriptions for the articles.
