Previously, he was a senior executive with Avnet, a $17B technology distributer, where he helped lead their work with hundreds of technology companies. Prior to Avnet, Scott was the founder and CEO of Eviciti – a software development, IT, web design, and consulting company - which he started out of his basement in 1996 with only $500. Within three years of starting Eviciti - Scott and his team raised over $7M in venture capital, which was used to buy companies, hire employees, invest in infrastructure, and accelerate the firm’s expansion, and merger. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana – Scott has lived in several US cities, and overseas, where he spent much of his youth living in a combination of England, France, and Spain. Scott graduated high school from The American School in Madrid, and college from DePaul University in Chicago. He was a finalist for an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, and was a Master Entrepreneur in Residence at Indiana University.
