Daily Wear

The dress for each school day:

Male students are required to wear a blazer, tie, white shirt and either long trousers or Ie Faitaga (for Middle and Senior School students), short trousers or Ie Faitaga (for Prep School students).

Female students are required to wear a blazer, tie, white blouse and either skirt or long trousers.

All students must wear the appropriate black leather school shoes. Jersey or cardigan is optional.

This style of dress is worn on the first day of each term, on the day of Chapel (usually Fridays), for trips away or hosting visiting schools. If a singlet or undergarment is worn under a shirt or blouse, it must be plain white or of natural skin tone.

No1 uniform:

No2 uniform: Male students are required to wear a blazer, tie, grey shirt and either short or long trousers.

Female students are required to wear a blazer, tie, grey blouse and either a skirt, long or short trousers.

All students must wear the appropriate black leather school shoes. Jersey or cardigan is optional.

Boarders Uniform

In addition to the uniform and sportswear listed, boarding students are expected to have the following additional items

Boarders can wear mufti (casual clothes) after school each day. These items can be of their own choosing however it must not be too eccentric. The students will require some shirts or blouses with collars to wear at dinner, house outings etc. It is also recommended that our senior students have a formal attire for formal occasions including school balls

All items of clothing and other personal possessions must be clearly named.

Insurance of personal property

Please note that parents may wish to purchase personal effects insurance for the protection of their son’s or daughter’s items in the Boarding House as the College does not cover this.

Name TagsAll items of uniform must be named. Name tags should use full initials and surnames, eg: J B Green or first name with other initials and surname, eg: John B Green.

The College has a strict uniform code which must be adhered to daily.

• When the College blazer is worn, the tie must also be worn, and both items are always worn outside the College grounds.

• If a student is cycling to school, they may do so without wearing their College blazer but should have it with them in case it is required during the day (for Chapel, Assembly etc.) Any student cycling or scootering must wear a helmet.

• All items of uniform, apart from shoes, must be purchased from the College Shop. Any outer garment, such as rainwear, must be black. Sportswear worn for both Inter-House and Inter-School activities must be school regulation and is available from the uniform shop.

• Hair ties, ribbons, clips or bands must be plain black or the colour of the wearer’s hair. Gold and silver hair accessories are not acceptable.
