Our Project
• Our local group will work alongside artists, landscape architects andengineers to create two Sentinels for the Helix.
• They will also take part in other creative programmes which willenhance their understanding, and ownership, of both the Sentinelsand the wider Helix landscape.
• The public art programme will start with the creation of a Sentinel in thenorth part of the site.
• The community group will be supported to select an artist who will work withthem to create a Sentinel using landform to raise the flat landscape so thatthey can view the wider area.
• The group will make sure that the local heritage of the area is incorporatedinto the landform sentinel and will work with the artists to develop theirideas.
