EDUCATION INDUSTRY

• Indian educational system is considered to be one ofthe best in the world, however there is huge gap whencompared to the global standards in terms of peoplebeing able to think independently and taking upentrepreneurship.

• The private education market in India is estimated tobe worth $40 billion in 2008 and will increase to $68billion by 2012. However, India continues to facechallenges. Despite growing investment in education,35% of the population is illiterate and only 15% of thestudents reach high school.
