About STICK Summer Camp 2018
STICK 2018The aim of this conference is to give students from ASEAN countries the chance to take alook at old problems in their communities with new perspectives and find a way to solvethem. Participants will learn to come up with innovative ideas that can help to change thelives of people in their communities, even with limited resources.Students will experiment on 3D Printing, 3D Pen, Aerodynamic, and Rocket Science andInvention classes. By giving them the opportunity to see that “Science is Fun” throughthese experimental activities, they would understand and appreciate better the field ofscience and technology.These challenges are empowered by our professional partner, Whizz Kidz, an educationalsupport service provider to schools, centres, and other organizations with the aim ofmaking science exciting and fun through hands-on experiments and demonstrations.
STICK Summer Camp is a 2-weeks English Summer Camp in collaboration with STICK2018. It will be held in Malaysia and Singapore. Participants will engage in hands-onscience related activities that will boost their creativity and at the same time, improvetheir spoken English. We have prepared a variety of science modules that includesForensic Science, Cool Chemistry, Aerodynamics and Fun Science. These modules will besupplemented by various site visits as well. In addition, participants will also attend anenriching day of University Visit. Apart from that, participants will enjoy authenticMalaysian cuisine and gain more knowledge about the culture as well. Following that,participants will transfer to Singapore where STICK is held annually.
