Monocotyledonous Plants

• In the stem, vascular bundles are scattered.• Flowers have petals and floral parts in

multiples of three.

Monocotyledonous Plants• Has single seed leaf

• Root system is generally fibrous, shallow and are adventitious.

Dicotyledonous plants

• Embryos have two seed leaves.

• Flowers have petals in multiples of four or five.

• Root system is generally branched, but taproot based.
