    INTRODUCTION

The book of Science of Abjad is a follow up of my first book ofSpiritual and Scientific Research on Arabic Letters and Numbers but this time Iwent deeper in the search andexploiting the another part of the science of abjad. Abjad isdefining normally as a chronogram, a mode of reckoningnumbers by means of the letters of the alphabet; it remains aworld to be explored.

The world of Science of Abjad may look like a virtual world butit is a reality, it can bring forward new discoveries on differentsubjects and issues. What I have written in my first book[Spiritual and Scientific Research on Arabic Letters and

Numbers] today scientists are sharing the same point of viewson different subjects, like the First Stars in Universe Were NotAlone ScienceDaily (Feb. 4, 2011) and Does music affect afoetus [YouTube and MSN] and so on.

The Science of Abjad helps also to understand the verses of theHoly Quran in another way; if we will continue to rely on thetextual analysis of the verses it will be very difficult toovercome the frontier of interpretation. We have to transcendthis frontier but be very careful to avoid speculation.

The book is divided into four chapters, first chapter, the ArabicLetters and the numerical values, who are the Arabic letters, their existence, where they came from, why do they exist, andtheir composition and their utilities, second chapter, the scienceof Abjad and the life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad [ ] adifferent views on his life spiritually and scientifically and thirdchapter elaboration on the book of [Spiritual and ScientificResearch on Arabic Letters and Numbers] and forth chapter,

black hole and the science of abjad.

The extrapolation on these different subjects made usunderstand that the Arabic language in the Holy Quran togetherwhich the Arabic Letters and their numerical values is not onlya language but also a science. Every word in the Holy Quranhas a concrete and abstract part whether scientifically orspiritually.

    11

The book is also the concern of abstract spirituality and scienceand as a researcher in the science of abjad bases on Arabicletters and numbers; with the science of abjad I have tried to

bring science and spirituality on an understanding field where itis possible. It is like building a frontier between the two and to

find common points and use it if we can.

The science of abjad does exists since a long time ago andShaykh Ackbar Ibn Arabi [May God bless his innermost being]is the master of this science. He is like a teacher for me by hisknowledge of that matter which he has shared in his books, Iwas inspired and fascinated by it and I should said that it is byhis grace and help that I have learned this science.

It is very difficult to trace the origin of this science and whointroduced numerology in Arabic letters there is only one saying

which was published by Badhawi on that subject who was aQuran commentator but was rejected by the majority of theMuslim saviors and it was considered as a weak saying.

In science as in spirituality they have one thing in similarity;they go on the quest of something. When they experience thereality of what they do, they accept this reality, the onlyessential difference is that scientist continues to learn, expandtheir knowledge, while in abstract spirituality the masters havealready undertaken the path and knew the beginning and the endof the track.

Scientists need to update their knowledge, align newdiscoveries, and indeed what they do. The body of knowledgeand practices in spirituality is not updating because neither thecontention nor the applications are challenged by the facts: thesystem has already reached its completion. Here we must markthe difference between three distinct areas: the cult, abstractspirituality and science.

The cult did not admit any new information: its basis risk to beshaken. Science must always include new information as it isincomplete. In the abstract spirituality, there is no need of newequipment since the system of knowledge is already full.Misunderstandings occur when people classify these differentdomains in the wrong categories. They imagine that science islike the abstract spirituality, completed, and that spirituality isan abstract sort of worship, instead of excluding any newknowledge and that the cult is open to new ideas while the cultdid not in fact adopt new elements.

    THE SCIENCE OF LANGUAGE

The Arabic language is the mother of all languages and it is thefirst language existed since the beginning of the creation. TheArabic language did not take birth from other languages andeven the forms of their letters. Our father Adam [a.s] hadspoken his first language in Arabic, God instructed him toapproach a group of Angels sitting near to him and greet them

with the words Assalamualaikum (May Gods peace be uponyou), they answered and also upon you be Gods peace, mercyand blessings. From that day forward these words became thegreeting of those submitted to God. From the moment ofAdams creation, we his descendents were instructed to spread

    peace.

God taught Adam all the names that to be existed He taughtAdam all the names of everything. (Quran 2:31) God gaveAdam the ability to identify and designate names to everything; He taught him language, speech and the ability to communicate.

God instill Adam with an insatiable need for and love ofknowledge. After Adam had learned the names and uses for allthings, God said to the Angels tell me the names of these ifyou are tru thful. They answered Glory be to You, we have noknowledge except what You have taught us. Verily it is Youthe All Knower, the All Wise. (Quran 2:31-32)

God turned to Adam and said:

O Adam! Inform them of their names, and when he hadinformed them of their names, He said: Did I not tell you that I

know the unseen in the heavens and the earth and I know whatyou reveal and what you have been hiding? (Quran 2:33)

Adam [a.s] when was sent on earth knew a lot of languages andhe even called one of his sons abjad [ ] so it is clear that ourfather Adam in his life time spoke Arabic language. May belater on perhaps of educational problem or of illiteracy andcommunication peoples had chosen secondary languages to

    14

communicate. In the time of the Holy Prophet Muhammad [ ]the beauty of the Arabic language had resurrected as the HolyQuran was revealed in Arabic.

    Chapter 3 verse 190

Behold! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and thealternation of night and day, - there are indeed Signs for men ofunderstanding,-

The Holy Prophet Muhammad [ ] did not speak anythingabout the science of revelation except through signs andsymbols [Ilm-Ulum-Id-Din Page 15 by Imam Al-Ghazali].

Signs are used normally to give indication and informationwhich can be concrete and abstract and symbols are arepresentation sometimes with a conventional significance and symbol is not usually an abstract representation of ideas.

    Chapter 12 verse 2

We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an, in order that yemay learn wisdom.

The verses of the Holy Quran are signs from Allah and it iswritten in Arabic language, the verses give indication, information, admonition and to learn wisdom. Normally theArabic language in the Holy Quran is the language of the soulconcretely and the Arabic language in the Holy Quran is anexceptional one as it is the only language where you shouldinvolve yourself to understand its meaning as states in chapter56 verses:

    77. That this is indeed a Quran Most Honorable,

    78. In Book well-guarded,

    79. Which none shall touch but those who are clean :

    80. A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds.

Let us see how sometimes this involvement occurs.

For example: [ ] man Rabbuka [Who is your Lord]

  • 8/11/2019 Science of Abjad

    15/168

    15

As we can see in the Arabic sentence there is no verb and evena preposition however in the English translation we have to puta verb to clarify the sentence. Man himself is a verb of God, asa verb in a sentence which will do the action and clarify thesituation and in the interpretation man should involve in.

Between [ ] and [ ] we had to put You tocomplete thetranslation and make it understandable.

Chapter 7 verse 204.When the Qur'an is read, listen to it with attention, and hold your

peace: that ye may receive Mercy.

The verses 78, 79 demonstrate that the Holy Quran is well-guarded and none shall touch but those who are clean. TheAlmighty God imposed one condition before you touch it, beclean, cleanliness of the body and the mind so that we can learn

the wisdom of His Holy Book, when we read the Holy Quranthe Almighty God reveals His message directly to us. Howeverthe verses of the Holy Quran have concrete and abstractmeaning but we should be very careful only our Beloved HolyProphet Muhammad [ ] knows the real meaning of this MostHonorable Book.

The letters [ ] are used like vowels and together with thethree signs [fatha, damma and kasra] they act like agents ofcommunication in Arabic language. They give words differentsound, meaning and indication and also in the verses. For

example if we take the name of the Holy ProphetMuhammad[ ] [ ] the sound [mu] is a continuous soundmake by the damma and the fatha found on the letters [ ] and[ ] give an indication that the sound is travelling to the upperkingdom of God in us. Thus reciting prayer where there is thename of the Holy Prophet Muhammad[ ] is a blessing as itconnects us directly to God.

    Example:

PEACE AND BLESSING ON THE HOLY PROPHET

MUHAMMAD ( ) AND HIS FAMILY AND HIS HEIRS

The Arabic letters are alive and they communicate with us evenif we do not know and feel it, this is why when we read theHoly Quran our mood and feeling change from worst to good

and nostalgia of going back to God awakens. They are likeenlighten beings in different forms.

The Arabic language is not only a language but also a scienceand the science of abjad [reference book: Spiritual and

Scientific Research on Arabic Letters and Numbers] came fromthe heart of this science and the bases of the science of abjad arethe six Sacred Names:

    [ ]

    Chapter 12

    1. A.L.R. These are the symbols (or Verses) of the perspicuousBook.2. We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an, in order that yemay learn wisdom.

It is very difficult to trace the origin of the Science of Abjad[Arabic letters and their numerical values] there is only onesaying that was reported by Baidawi but was considered as aweak hadith. Surely this science should be existed since a longtime ago and the majority of the saviors in Islam accepted thatevery Arabic letters has a numerical value there is no doubtabout it.

The great savior Shaykh Ackbar Ibn Arabi [May Allah blesshis inner most being] has used this science in his book Futuhatal-Makkiya [The Meccan Revelations] to point out theliberation of Jerusalem by the Muslim in the year of 583 byusing the letters Alif Lam Mim [ ] with a spectacularcomputation. In his others books he has used this science toextrapolate the hidden realities of the Arabic letters like the

book of Mim, Waw and Nun.

I have written my first book [Spiritual and Scientific Researchon Arabic Letters and Numbers] with reference with theteaching of the great savior Shaykh Ackbar Ibn Arabi on thescience of abjad. This science demonstrates that there are othertypes of knowledge in the Holy Quran still unknown.

    17

    In chapter 36 [Ya-Sin] [ ] verse 36

Glory to Allah, Who created in pairs all things that theearth produces, as well as their own kind and things ofwhich they have no knowledge.

This verse states that God has created in pairs all things likeman and woman, positive and negative forces, good and evilhence letters and numbers are also pairs for each other andcertainly they should work together and which gave birth to thescience of abjad.

The total of the numerical values of the letters of the verse 36[huruf al jumal] gives 4456 and if we add [4+4+5+6=19] and

this shows that the knowledge of the science of abjad is issuedfrom the tree of 19 lights as illustrated in the book of Spiritualand Scientific Research on Arabic letters and Numbers

The key word in the verse is the word pairs [ ]3+1+6+7+1=18 and the word pairs is written in plural form, multiply 18 by two, 18*2=36 or 17+19 or 12+24. 12 and 24 arealso the numerical values of names Allah [12] and the HolyProphet Muhammad [ ] when we remove the zero in theirnumerical values.

[ ] 5+3+3+1=12 and [ ] 4+4+4+8+4=24, the namesAllah and the Holy Prophet Muhammad [ ] are both present inthe attestation, there is no god except Allah and Muhammad is aMessenger of Allah.

    22. And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and

    2. We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an, in order that yemay learn wisdom.

    Chapter 16 v 104

    104. Those who believe not in the Signs of Allah, - Allah willnot guide them, and theirs will be a grievous Penalty.

    105. It is those who believe not in the Signs of Allah that forgefalsehood: it is they who lie!

As we can see in chapter 12 verses 1, the Arabic letters aresymbol or even may be verses or even signs. They are likeangels with angelic mission under the command of God andthey obey only Him and knew only what their Lord has taughtthem and they play a particular task in the words of the HolyQuran. The Arabic letters form a type of community whereeveryone has different function and sometimes thesignifications of the letters are linked with their numericalvalues.

The Arabic language is the first language spoken by our fatherHazrat Adam [a.s], when God breath in Him he saidAlhamdulillah [Praise be to Allah] hence it is clear that thefirst language which was existed and spoken was the Arabiclanguage and we could said that all languages take birth from it.Hazrat Adam [a.s] knew various languages and had transcendedthe time until the modern era.

    Who are the Arabic Letters?

Arabic letters are symbols used to give sign, every Arabicletters has his Creators name and translation and Created formand translation for example [Arabic letter Alif- Creators nameBadi-translation The Wonderful Originator and Created formAql-i-kul and translation Absolute Reason] [from the bookStudy in Tassawuf by Shaykh Al Akbar Ibn Arabi may Allahsanctified his inner most being] Hence a word can havedifferent meaning by the way we look at it whether literally orwith the eye of the science of abjad.

    Where they came from?

They came from the first Light that manifested at the very beginning of the creation by God, they are the DNA ofknowledge by exploring the Arabic letters with the help of thescience of abjad we can learn a lot of thing in the creation.

    Why did they exist?

Every Arabic letters with their Creators name and Created formgives an indication and information about the letters present inthe Arabic words and the part they are playing. The Arabicletters have different personalities and as we do know that everywords in the Holy Quran has different meaning and the Arabic

letters sometimes help us to get a starting point to understand it.

What are the compositions of the Arabic Letters?

As they came from the first Light of God they are composed oflight, the six sacred names, [

] the elements of nature [water, earth, fire, air andether] and with different colors [red, yellow, black, green andwhite] from these components the Arabic letters get their

capacities, forces and energy. They move from place to place bysound and light and it is the light which will take the last relay, sound and light are as vehicles. This is why words when theyenter the brain they are transformed into liquid state and then tolight.

  • 8/11/2019 Science of Abjad

    21/168

    21

    What are their utilities?

They formed words which give birth to different knowledge andhide their abstract meaning and they are under the command ofAllah, knowledge is not acquired we have to seek for it. The

best word is the word of Allah and the best guidance is theguidance of Prophets said the Holy Prophet Muhammad [ ].

The numerical values of the Arabic letters are the capacities oflight they contain in and which can be summarized by groupingthe light in a certain formula like 40 to 4 by removing the zeroor by grouping by the set of ten 4X10

However this does not mean that the powers of an Arabicletters vary with its numerical value but it defines its part it will

play in certain occasion. The light and the elements present inthe letters will work together to accomplish a particular taskwhen require by the command of God. The capacities of theelements in each letter is different but this does not mean that ifthe numerical value of a letter is greater than the others that theyare more powerful because each letters occupies a different

place in the theory of emanation.

All created things move from one stage to another and thisconstant renewal occurs in the creation every day and theirsecret lies in the word of the Holy Quran and the names ofAllah, known only by the heirs of the Holy Prophet Muhammad[ ].

The words and the letters travel in our body to the soul byusing sound and light as vehicle and light take over to makethem attain their final destination.

    Chapter 5 verse 38

O ye who believe! Do your duties to Allah, seek the means ofapproach unto Him, and strive with might and main in Hiscause: That ye may prosper.

I found this in the book of the great savior Shaykh Ackbar IbnArabi [may Allah sanctify his inner most being] in his bookmim, waw and nun concerning the verse 110 of chapter 3 of theHoly Quran 110 [Ye are the best of peoples, evolved formankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and

believing in Allah. If only the People of the Book had faith, itwas best for them: among them are some who have faith, butmost of them are perverted transgressors.] The signification ofthe term use in th e Holy Quran maruf announce the notion ofa traditional community and the signification of this must betransposed, as the community of letters is an esoteric order.

If we use the word [ peoples] with numerical values400+40+1 441[we have the presence of numbers 1, 4, 4] andthe word letter in Arabic [ ] 80+200+8 288 and 144*2 288, we can understand why Shaykh Ackbar Ibn Arabi hascreated a relation about what he said above, that is there is anabstract belonging between the word [ ] and [ ]. The verseindicates that there are two types of communities one formankind and another for letters.

THE NUMERICAL VALUES OF THE ARABICLETTERS

The numerical values of the Arabic letters follow a particular

method which is unique in the computation system, it beginswith number 1 and end with 9 [1 to 9] and follows with themultiple of ten [10, 20, 30, 40 to 90] and then hundreds[100,200,300,400,500,600,700,800,900] and the series end with[1000]. However only the letter Lam Alif [ ] breaks the rule ofthis system with a numerical value of 31 [30+1].

    Chapter 72 verse 28.

"That He may know that they have [truly] brought and deliveredthe Messages of their Lord: and He surrounds [all the mysteries]

that are with them, and takes account of every single thing."

The key word of the verse is account also translate as count orcomputation [ ] 10+90+8+1 removing the zero1+9+8+1 19 [1 and 9]Verse 28 like 28 Arabic Letters.

The numerical value of the verse gives 3086 and removing thezero 179 count a letter only once in a word [171]

    171 19*9 and 171 100+71 removing the zero in 100 1

and 1*71 71 like the numerical of [ ] Alif Lam Mim.

This system may has taken birth from the abbreviation [ ] AlifLam Mim is like a key that open the door of the Holy Quranand he may be also the key of the numerical system in theScience of Abjad. The abbreviation [ ] has two madda [ mainly on the top of letter Lam and Mim and the madda soundlike an alif .The numerical value of [ ] is 71 1+30+40 andremoving the zero [1+3+4 = 8] and adding the two madda1+1 2 hence 8+2 10, removing the zero we get one [1] andin the process of the science of abjad the system begins with

    one and restart with a number one forward, [1] [10] [100][1000] - [1 to 9] [1*10] [10*10] [10*100].

the Science of Abjad begins with number one and ends withnine and continues in the multiple of ten.

    A B J A D

[THE SCIENCE OF ARABIC LETTERS ANDNUMBERS]

    DEFINITION

The word abjad symbolize the Arabic letters with a numericalvalue and abjad ( ) is a mysterious word which contains thefirst four Arabic letters in numerical order (Alif 1, Ba 2,Jim 3 and dal 4). Every Arabic letters has a numerical

value and the numerical values of the letters can be used incomputations with and without taking the zero into account. This can be sound absurd, but it is one of the empirical rules ofAbjad computation.

To illustrate the rule, one can make a computation with the firstletter, the middle letter or the last letter of a single word or forevery single word forming a sentence. In other combinationsone can use a single letter in a word but not twice, though therecan be several occurrences of the same word in a singlesentence.

    OPERATIONS

Mathematical operations like addition, subtraction, division andmultiplication are used in Abjad computation. The operationscause a number or a value, having a unique Arabic letter to

undergo different combination, expansion and contractionleading to a breakdown or ascension of combinations of letters. This is explained by the examples below:

    Division:

May be seen as splitting of a number leading to an expansionof a letter, the letter Qaf ( ) which has a numerical value of100 can be divided into two giving (50+50) which is the

numerical value of [ + ], the symbolism of which is Nur and Nar.

    Multiplication:

To illustrate that, we would take the word of Allah Almighty inArabic. ( ) The letters are ( ), ( ), ( ) and ( ) having numericalvalues of 1, 30, 30 and 5 respectively. In order to show themultiplication, the zeroes in the value of letters ( ) are not takeninto account. These are truncated such that the absolute value of( ) is 3. As a result if we perform the multiply operation

[5X3X3X1=45], which leads us to a symbolism: 45 is the Abjadfor Adam and once can extrapolate that Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) has been created to the best Stature (Ahsanitaqweem, S95V4).

    Addition:

After the process there will be the same like a union of man andwoman (X+Y) a same subject will be obtain not a different one

(the birth of a human being).

    COMPUTATIONAL EXAMPLES

Every Arabic letter has its own interpretation and secret, theyare alive as these letters are from the Guarded Tablet comingfrom the light of God and revealed to the Holy Prophet ( )The letter Alif is the origin of all the forms and all these lettersare present in every creatures of Allah Almighty.

The word Huruf ( ) (8+6+2+8 = 24) which means lettersin Arabic has the same numerical value of as the nameMuhammad. The letters are composed of fourteen forms andthere are twenty points present with them and only one of the

points is found under the letter (19+1). If a letter is expanded, one can get the letters which on addition sums the initial letter. For example, Arabic letter ( ) waw having numerical value 6can be viewed as (2X3) and . This is true for other lettersalso.

The word abjad [ ] is composed of (Alif 1, Ba 2, Jim 3and Dal 4).

Every letter represents one element in the science of Abjad:

    Alif represents Fire

    Ba is for air

    Jim represents Water

    Dal is for the Earth

    Ha is for Ether

They are the vital elements for the survival of the human race. The letter Ha ( ) represents also the breathe.

Only Allah the Almighty God knows the secret of the creationof the Heavens and the Earth.

    THE ARABIC LETTERS

The Arabic letters (Huruf al Hija) normally are composed of 28letters if we add the letter hamza ( ) there will be 29 and 30 ifwe add the letter Lam Alif ( ).Shaykh Al Ackbar MuhiyuddinIbn Arabi (r.a) has classified the letters according to the theory

of emanation in that way[ ] and every Arabicletters has a numerical value. I have classified them in twocolumns.

If wemultiply the numerical value of letters which are used to writethe name of the Holy Prophet ( ) ( ) removing the zero [4,

8, 4 4X8X4 = 128 64+64] as we do know a human beinghas the form of the name Muhammad hence all these Arabicletters formed part in us that is they gave our body the form of ahuman being.

If we look at the letters in a scientific way the letter nun ( ) isas a nucleus with a neutron in and letter ( ) as a neutron and a

proton in and letter ( ) a neutron, a proton and an electron.Atom is a like a grain of light with energy hiding in and with

    neutron, proton and electron.

All Arabic letters are consonants; three of them, however Alif, waw and Ya are also used as long vowels or diphthongs Alif, waw and Ya ( ) [10+6+1=17 like word ( ) 3+6+6+2=17]they are not present in every word but their sound are present inthe words by using three symbols fatha, kasra and damma thesesound we made it every day voluntary or involuntary.

The articulation and the movement of the three vowels are present in our body, they are like three driving force in differentschema like the movement of blood in the heart and in themovement of the breath in body and they made three differentmovement, ascending, descending and horizontal.

According to Shaykh Al Ackbar Ibn Arabi (r.a) the alif is

considered like a separation ( ) [descending] God created man by His image and waw revelation and transmission ( )[horizontal]and ya connection [ascending]. These three factsexplain the part play by a Master towards a disciple where helearn the adept how to separate from the desire of worldly

pleasures and step by step he reveals to him secret spiritualknowledge and then he help him to connect to his Lord.

The presence of the sun and the moon letters in a word indicatethat there is a combination of two forces which make wordsalive and active and which is confirmed by the number 19. Thesun letters is like an active force and the moon letters like a

    THE HOLY QURAN

The Holy Quran was revealed in Arabic language and it

contains 6236 verses with 30 parts.

Chapter 12 verses 2: We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an,in order that ye may learn wisdom.

Chapter 20 verses 113: Thus have We sent this down - anArabic Qur'an - and explained therein in detail some of thewarnings, in order that they may fear Allah, or that it may causetheir remembrance [of Him].

Chapter26 verses 195: In the perspicuous Arabic tongue.

Chapter 41 verses 3: A Book, whereof the verses are explainedin detail; - a Qur'an in Arabic, for people who understand;-

The numerical value of the word Quran is 352 [ ]50+1+1+200+100 and multiplying 3*5*2 30 like 30 chapters.

The Holy Quran is a conglomeration of knowledge in everyfield whether in religious matters, scientifically, mathematically, history and so on. It includes also some parts ofthe three others sacred books like the Psalms, the Torah and the

Gospel. The word Quran ( ) appeared at least 70 times inthe Holy Quran.

PROOF OF THE SCIENCE OF ABJAD

The Holy Quran contains a science which was left behind that isthe science of abjad [The science of Arabic letters and numbers]we should be very grateful to Hazrat Shaykh Al Akbar IbnArabi [May God bless his innermost being] who has opened a

long time ago the door of this science and this has allowed meto write my first book [Spiritual and Scientific Research onArabic Letters and Numbers]. In the book on page 83 in chapterFertilization last paragraph I have written that the baby in the

placenta can develop personal behavior and if you go onYoutube.com and you have a look on the video [Does MusicAffect A Foetus?] you will see a baby have different behavior incertain occasion.

This show that the science of abjad is true and real and I willintroduce once more the chapter of fertilization for your perusal

    below.

    FERTILIZATION

After fertilization the egg divide into 46 chromosomes 23 fromthe spermatozoid and 23 from the ovule in the number 23 thereare two numbers 2 and 3, 2 like the numerical of b () and 3Jim ( ) the b represents the earth and Jim the sky like the bodyand mind like two pairs.

These chromosomes contain the DNA that contains the geneticmaterials of the chromosomes and then the different parts of the

body of the future baby will be made. The sperm scientificallyis represented by an X and the ovule by a Y if the X is dominantthe ftus will become a boy and if the Y is dominant itwill be agirl.

Between the sperm and the ovule there are like two oppositeforce who want to be dominant can we said! If the b has amasculine characteristic hence the Jim will have a feminine onein this point of view the b will be positive and the Jimnegative.

The b ( ) is the first Arabic letter which was formed from Alifmanifested later on like Adam the first man so if the brepresents Adam in this context then Jim will be Eve (Hawa)the union of two forces which unite together in the same

principle. The word ( ) (4+1+6+4+6 21 translate as skyhas the same numerical value of Hawa (Eve) ( )(1+6+6+8 21. Man is active who give forms and woman is

passive and conceives as we can see in letter Jim [ ].

If we add 23 and 23 46, 4 is the numerical value of dl ()and 6 waw ( ) with these two letters we can get the word wadda( ) (to love, wish for) God wanted to make Himself known Hemade the creation. 46 (40+6), 40 () the mim represent man

    35

and 6 (2X3) ( et ) union of earth and the sky, the body andthe mind.

The letter b and Jim are symbolic andrepresent in anotherdimension the b represents the element air and the Jim theelement water, biologically air like the breath and water like the

blood and spiritually Imam Hassan represents the element airand Imam Hussein water. 23 (2X3 6) (2X3 6) and 6+6 = 12like the 12 signs du zodiac.

As we have noticed the ftus as it developed accumulateinformation coming from the moral and physical conditions ofthe mother there is something new that we have to elaborate thatis by the presence of letters b and Jim, the baby in the placentacan develop personal behavior.

We have learned how animals could develop by informationthat they received coming from their appropriate environment,if animals which are considered to have an inferior intelligencecompare to man who possess a well develop mind hence whythe baby in the mother cannot develop a personal behavior oreven the faculty of thinking depending in the world he is!

    (S23V13,14)

    13. Then We placed him as (a drop of) sperm in a place of rest, firmly fixed;

14 . Then We made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood;then of that clot We made a (foetus) lump; then we made out ofthat lump bones and clothed the bones with flesh; then wedeveloped out of it another creature. So blessed be Allah, thebest to create!

    (1) The chapter 23 verses 14 have 4 numbers (1,2,3,4)one lAlif le 2 b ( ) le 3 Jim ( ) and 4 dl (). Alif representselement Fire, b (air), Jim (water) and dl (earth) these fourelements are vital for the formation of a human being.

    (2) The numerical value of verse 14 491 4X9X1=36, why 36 as a future time all human being have to

    pray and made charity. Prayer salt ( ) (4+1+3+9 = 17) andcharity zakat ( ) (4+6+2+7=19) (19+17 36) and 491 4X9+1=37 and [S23V14 23+14=37] a future mother will give

form of a future human being in 12 weeks after coagulation and127 (12X7) 84 days and 8+4=12 like 12 weeks.

    (4) The verse 14 was writing in six parts like manundergoing the six different stages of a complete reproductiveevolution [Earth, inorganic world, mineral world, vegetableworld, animal world and human world representing by lettermim numerical value 40]

    (S46V15)

    15. We have enjoined on man kindness to his parents: In pain did his mother bear him, and in pain did she give himbirth. The carrying of the (child) to his weaning is (a period of)thirty months. At length, when he reaches the age of full

strength and attains forty years, he says, "O my Lord! Grant methat I may be grateful for Thy favor which Thou has bestowedupon me, and upon both my parents, and that I may work

righteousness such as Thou mayest approve; and be gracious tome in my issue. Truly have I turned to Thee and truly do I bow(to Thee) in Islam.

    Science News

First Stars in Universe WereNot AloneScienceDaily (Feb. 4, 2011) the first stars in the universewere not as solitary as previously thought. In fact, they couldhave formed alongside numerous companions when the gasdisks that surrounded them broke up during formation, giving

birth to sibling stars in the fragments.

These are the findings of studies performed with the aid ofcomputer simulations by researchers at Heidelberg University'sCentre for Astronomy together with colleagues at the MaxPlanck Institute for Astrophysics in Garching and the Universityof Texas at Austin (USA). The group's findings, just publishedthe journal Science, cast an entirely new light on the formationof the first stars after the Big Bang.

Stars evolve from cosmic gas clouds in a fierce and complex battle between gravity and internal gas pressure. The density ofthe gas increases due to its own gravitational pull. This causesthe gas to heat up, as a consequence the pressure rises, and thecompression process comes to a halt. If the gas manages to getrid of the thermal energy, compression can continue and a newstar is born. This cooling process works especially well if thegas contains chemical elements like carbon or oxygen. Starsforming in this way are normally low in mass, like our Sun. Butin the early universe these elements had yet to emerge, so the

primordial cosmic gas could not cool down very well.Accordingly, most theoretical models predict the masses of

primordial stars to be about a hundred times greater than that ofthe Sun.

Heidelberg astrophysicist Dr. Paul Clark and his colleaguesinvestigated these processes with the help of very highresolution computer simulations. Their findings indicate that

  • 8/11/2019 Science of Abjad

    38/168

    38

this simple picture needs to be revised and that the earlyuniverse was not only populated by huge, solitary stars. Thereason is the underlying physics of the so called accretion disksaccompanying the birth of the very first stars. The gas fromwhich a new star forms rotates, and so the gas is unable to fall

directly onto the star, but first builds up a disk-like structure.Only as a result of internal friction can the gas continue to flowonto the star.

If more mass falls onto this disk than it can transport inwards, it becomes unstable and breaks into several fragments. So insteadof forming just one star at the centre, a group of several stars isformed. The distances between some of the stars can be as smallas that between Earth and the Sun.

According to Dr. Clark, this realization opens up exciting new

avenues for detecting the first stars in the universe. In the finalstages of their lives, binaries or multiple stellar systems can produce intense bursts of X-rays or gamma rays. Future spacemissions are being planned specifically to investigate such

bursts from the early universe. It is also conceivable that someof the first stars may have been catapulted out of their birthgroup through collisions with their neighbors before they wereable to accumulate a great deal of mass.

Unlike short-lived high-mass stars, low-mass stars may survivefor billions of years. "Intriguingly," says Dr. Clark, "some low-

mass primordial stars may even have survived to the presentday, allowing us to probe the earliest stages of star and galaxyformation right in our own cosmic backyard."

Together with Dr. Simon Glover and Dr. Rowan Smith, Dr.Paul Clark is a member of the star-formation research groupheaded by Prof. Dr. Ralf Klessen at Heidelberg University'sCentre for Astronomy. Also involved in the research were Dr.Thomas Greif of the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics(Garching) and Prof. Dr. Volker Bromm of the University ofTexas.

This research was funded by the Baden-WrttembergFoundation as part of the International Top-Level Research II

programme. Additional support came from the FRONTIERinnovation fund of Heidelberg University as well as the GermanResearch Foundation, the US National Science Foundation, and

    NASA.

    FOREWARD

The world was under the rule of the age of darkness most of the people took their animal instinct as God. Parents were buryingalive their daughters and idols worshipping were a common

    custom around the world.

Emperors and Kings taking possession of the life and lives ofthe people under their rules, they did not have any choicewhether they obeyed or they would be killed.

Human being was considered like a toy through the hands of thetyranny ruler, women were looking as an object of pleasure andthere were no human rights.

The law of slavery ruled over the world and the monarch

authority obliged the habitants to adore and pay tribute to them.Manufactured objects like statuette had become their gods andfor every occasion different idols were adored and praised andin certain region the sun was taken as God.

Adultery, prostitution, hazard games, usury formed part in theirway of life. The rich dominated the poor, people were selling asdomestic animals and their life had no value through the eye ofthe Emperors and Kings. Different ethnic groups fighting

between each other to become dominant, to establish theirsrules, and to satisfy their desires.

The heart of those who were suffering from domination and persecution were crying for liberty and peace, even if most ofthem were not believers but the Spirit that dwelling in them was

pure, the soul can be corrupted but not the Spirit.

The arrival of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ( ) gave a new birth to the world, the light of God shinning once more in theheart of those who were waiting for the Perfect man; the wholecreation praised him.

S33V43.He it is Who sends blessings on you, as do His angels, that Hemay bring you out from the depths of Darkness into Light: andHe is Full of Mercy to the Believers.

He is still acting as an instructor for those who love him as aguide, how many people around the world has dream of theHoly Prophet Muhammad ( ) and everyone has got a gift indifferent way whether as knowledge and so on. This will

continue until the end of time as he said that:

The coming of the Light of God [Holy Prophet Muhammad( )] in the universe brought forward the religion of Islam andthe revelation of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the HolyProphet Muhammad ( ).

The religion of Islam is not only a religion but also a path tofollow. Only in the religion of Islam there is a system of lawthat was established by God. The religion of Islam does exist

before the arrival of the Prophet Muhammad ( ) but it wasforgotten and manipulated and corrupted by man andincomplete.

    S42V13, 14 and 15

    13. The same religion has He established for you as that whichHe enjoined on Noah - the which We have sent by inspiration to

thee - and that which We enjoined on Abraham, Moses, andJesus: Namely, that ye should remain steadfast in religion, andmake no divisions therein: to those who worship other thingsthan Allah, hard is the (way) to which thou callest them. By the arrival of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ( ), the

religion of Islam was reintroduced and completed by the perfectway.

    RELIGION

The word religion normally in Arabic language is translatedas Deen [ ] however in Chapter 1 verse 4 it is interpreted asDay of Judgment.

    (2)

To have judgment there must have laws and the Law ofShariah is one of the best systems of law that the world has everknown, it came directly from God.

Islam is translated as Submission to God, and Godintroduced a way of life by following the Sunnah of his belovedHoly Prophet Muhammad ( ) that is followed the way he livedin his daily life and followed the law of Shariah and the bases ofShariah is composed of the five pillars of Islam:

    1. To testify that none has the right to be worshipped but

Allah and Muhammad is Allah's Apostle.

    2. To offer prayers perfectly

    3. To pay the Zakat (obligatory charity)

    4. To observe fast during the month of Ramadan.

    5. To perform pilgrimage.

The meaning of Islam is divided into two parts:

    a. Submission to God Following the Shariah and theSunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ( ).

    b. And Islam as a Path, this is the hidden part of Islam.

To attain this path we need to follow the teaching God and

that of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ( )

Word and guidance are two matters. The best word is

the word of God and the best guidance is the guidance of the

Prophets, said Holy Prophet Muhammad ( )

    Chapter 10 Verse 108

Chapter 57 Verse 28O ye that believe! Fear Allah, and believe in His Messenger, and He will bestow on you a double portion of His Mercy: Hewill provide for you a Light by which ye shall walk (straight inyour path), and He will forgive you (your past): for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

    What is this Path?

Some sources trace the origin to an incident that occurred to the

Holy Prophet Muhammad ( ). One day, while he was teachingthe verse, God created the seven heavens [65:12], a specialmeaning of this verse was revealed to him, Ibn Abbas, the greattransmitter of his Traditions, who was present, was latter askedof what the Holy Prophet Muhammad ( ) had said Ibn Abbasanswered, if I were to tell you, you would stone me to deathThrough this allusion to the inner meaning of things, thismeaning which not comprehensible to all, the inner path to Godwas opened.

The Companions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ( ) were

devout men who performed acts of meditation and constantremembrance of the Divine through its Names and throughrepetition of the text of the Holy Quran; and after the death ofthe Holy Prophet Muhammad ( ) this group spread and traineddisciples.

forces symbolize by Hazrat Adam (a.s) and Hawa [Eve] hencethis path is composed of this union of forces, which combinedand by leaving their identities to protect the religion of Islam.

It is a well-calculated matrix and they are the main mechanismof the creation. On the path they act like a shield against the evilforce.

Islam as a path to follow Chapter 1 Verse 6

Hence the Path we have to follow has a conceivable force in itmeaning it receives and takes possession and it produceschanges. When we submit to God He takes possession of ourlife and transforms us perfectly.

According to some commentators, there are about 730verses in the Holy Quran where the Holy ProphetMuhammad ( ) is concerned and in four places we canfind the name MUHAMMAD inside the Holy Qur'an.

    1. Ali Imran (3) : 144

And Muhammad is no more than an apostle; the apostles havealready passed away before him; if then he dies or is killed willyou turn back upon your heels? And whoever turns back uponhis heels, he will by no means does harm to Allah in the leastand Allah will reward the grateful.

    2. Al-Ahzab (33) : 40

Allah is cognizant of all things.

Abdul Mutalib who occupied an undisputed position amongthe Quraysh knew that the habitants of Makka would not beable to defend the Holy shrine of Kabah. He asked them toleave the matter in the hand of God and they took refuge on the

    Chapter 105. The Elephant

    1. Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the Companions ofthe Elephant?

    2. Did He not make their treacherous plan go astray?

    3. And He sent against them Flights of Birds,

    4. Striking them with stones of baked clay.

    5. Then did He make them like an empty field of stalks andstraw, (of which the corn) has been eaten up.

In the chapter 105 there are 14 letters Lam [ ], lam is acontingent of light. The words the flights of birds, [( )30+10+2+1+2+1+1+200+10+9=266 2+6+6=14] and theword sijjil ( ) ( ) numerically (3+1+3+3+6=16).The word sijjil is translated as stones of baked clay or hard as

    baked clay.

The word elephant is written in Arabic [ ](3+1+8+3+1 16) and 16 is one of the numerical value of the

name of the Prophet Muhammad [ ] using letters to writethe name Muhammad ( ) [4+8+4 = 16] we do know that

Prophet Muhammad is a light of God and his light is present inevery things.

The flights of birds were not an ordinary bird as theywere angels sent by God with a very powerful light to destroythe Abyssinian army. The letter lam [ ] represents the angelsand the stones of baked clay ( ) is a symbolic word used torepresent the light.

    THE BLESSED BIRTH

Ibn 'Abbas claims that Muhammad was born on "the Day ofthe Elephant" on 570 A.C. Historians have different viewsconcerning the month of Muhammad's birth although the

majority of them agree that it was Rabi` al Awwal, the thirdmonth of the lunar year.

570 19X30 in the first edition we have learn aboutnumber 19 and 30 is the numerical value of letter Lam [ ] andLam is a contingent of light and this gave an indication that whois born on that year was not an ordinary human being, he is thecarrier of something who later on we will see its importance.

If we remove the zero in 570 we will have 57 and57 19X3. The Holy Prophet Muhammad ( ) was born on the12 of Rabi` al Awwal [3th month of the Islamic calendar],multiplying 57X12 684 and dividing by 3 684/3 = 228.

If we divide 228 by 2 114 and 114 is the number ofchapters that the Holy Quran contains. So we have two numbersof 114, one referred to the Holy Quran and the other one to themother of the book [Umm mul Kitab ( )] and if break 57into two parts we get 40+17. 40 is the numerical value of lettermim [ ] and 17 of the mother of the book ( ] [

    ] 1+4+1+3+2+4+2 17

The Prophet Muhammad ( ) has in him the mother ofthe book when the time was favorable the Holy Quran wasrevealed externally. ( )] [ ]1+4+1+3+2+4+2 17 and 17 is a number known to be used torepresent a person or likewise to do a particular task for God. 17is also the numerical value of word [ 3+6+6+2 17]meaning messenger.

    ( )] [ ] 1X4X1X3X2X4X2 192 and192 is the numerical value of word Ar-Rahman ( ) meaning

    blessing. ( ) 1X30X200X8X10X40 19200000 removingthe zero 192.

We sent thee not, but as a mercy for all creatures.

( )] [ ] 2+400+20+30+1+40+1 =494 4X9X4 = 144 and 144 is also the numerical value of theword Lamps ( 8X1X2X9=144) the mother of the book islike a lamp for human beings who help us by the grace of Godto bring us out of the depths of darkness into light.

O Prophet! Truly, We have sent thee as a Witness, aBearer of glad Tidings and a Warner And as one who invitesto Allahs (Grace) by His leave, and as a Lamp spreading Light.

144 12X12 and 12 is the numerical value of wordAllah when removing all the zero present in the numbers [ ]5+30+30+1 5+3+3+1 = 12 and we add 5+30+30+1 66 andas we get two 12 in 144 so we will take 66+66 132 who is thenumerical value of name Muhammad [ ]4+40+40+40+8 132.

Hence the Holy Prophet Muhammad ( ) is look like acontingent of light as letter Lam [ ] and Sheikh Akbar IbnArabi [May God Bless his innermost being]said that in the letterLam there are two others letters [ ]. In the hump of the Lamthere is a nun [ ] and the letter [ ] come from thedecomposition of letter nun.

If we add the numerical value of letters [ ] 5+7+1 =13. In number 13 we have 1 and 3 like [ ] or [ ] and Lam Alifis look as the 29 th letters in Arabic language. The Lam attractsthe Alif in him or the Lam is bearing the Alif as a vehiclecarrying the Essence, the Lam Alif is like a letter representingthe vicegerent of the Creator.

    THE TRANSMUTATION

When the Holy Prophet Muhammad ( ) reached the age ofthree that, the following event is said to have happened.Muhammad was playing in a yard behind the encampment ofthe tribe with Lady Halimah's son when the latter ran back tohis parents and said, "Two men dressed in white took myQurayshi brother, laid him down, opened his abdomen, andturned him around." It is also reported that Lady Halimah said, -

When Abd al Muttalib died the Holy Prophet Muhammad( ) was very sad God in the Qur'an had to console the Prophetreminding him, as it were, "Did God not find you an orphan andgive you shelter and protection? Did He not find you erring andguide you to the truth?" [Qur'an, 93:6-7]

Muhammad was elected as the Prophet of God and to helphim in his mission God began by takeoff all the persons whomhe loved most, beginning by his father, his mother andgrandfather.

It may be seen cruel but in spirituality there is no closerelation apart God Himself but this does not mean that youshould not look after your parents as God is present ineveryone. It is a very complicated process, however in a castlethere cannot be two kings.

The presence of letter Alif at the beginning of verse 6 inchapter 93 indicates that there was a separation and letter Ya atthe end of verse 6 and 7 indicates that there will be a connectionand the letter waw at the beginning of verse 7 point out torevelation.

When the Holy Prophet Muhammad ( ) was in the caveHira, his only worship at all that time was to meditate and thinkabout his Creator and to search answers to the mysteries of life.At the age of forty, an age of maturity and wisdom and perfectunderstanding, when the animal part in mans personality isreceded, the youth aspirations die out and his spiritual facultiesstart to gain the upper hand.

The Holy Prophet Muhammad ( ) did not hope to find thetruth in the old scriptures as they were manipulated and he didnot follow their way of life. Spiritually he was steps forwardgradually towards God and one of the sign he always speaks thetruth [Al-Amin] and before revelation started he begins to see inhis dream visions of the truth he sought.

The revelation of the Holy Quran was not accidental like inscientific experiments but it is a long process of evolution.

    S93V7:

And He found thee wandering, and He gave the guidance.

    6+6+3+4=20+800+1+30+30+1+80+5+4+10

    Numerical value 1000

1000 is also the numerical value of letter ain [ ] creatorsname Zahir [the manifest] and created form Jism-i-Kul [TheUniversal body or Absolute Corporeality]. The letter ain gives aclear explanation and show that the soul of Holy ProphetMuhammad ( ) was elevated to an upper stage and themanifestation of the grace of God was with him.

The word dwalla [ ] in the verse 7 shows that the HolyProphet Muhammad ( ) was not an ignorant, which isconfirmed by the letter [ ] who has for Creators name [Alim]meaning the Knower. God secretly guided him during hislifetime and when the knowledge started to bubble in him, he

was starting to feel uncomfortable by the current way of life ofhis environment.

The Holy Prophet Muhammad ( ) was already a perfectman, however to assimilate the Holy Quran he needed a type of

preparation and his body and soul should work together tomake it possible. The letter [ ] represents the Holy ProphetMuhammad ( ) in the science of abjad and his numericalvalue 40 if we remove the zero we will have 4 which is thenumerical value of letter dal [ ].

The letter dal is found at the beginning of word dahreinmeaning two worlds like material word and spiritual world or body and soul.

At the age of forty the angel Jibreal came in the cave Hira toreveal to the Holy Prophet Muhammad ( ) the first five versesof chapter 96 [Al-Alaq The Clinging Clot or Al- Iqra ]with 19 verses. Some said that the whole chapter of Al-Iqra wasrevealed.

    Iqra [ ] 1+200+100+1 or 1+100+200+1 removing

the zero 1211 or 1121, dividing 1121 by 19 59 40+19.40 [ ] and 19 the Tree of Light or Tree of Knowledge.

    Alaq [ ] 1+3+7 or (1+2+1+3+4) presence of numbers(1, 2, 3, 4) [ ] each letters represents an element ofnature.

The word Alaq means the clot and the clot is a combinationof two different biological processes of an ovule and a sperm. This process hides in itself different forces representing the byelements of nature; fire, air, water and earth.

The chapter Al-Alaq or Al- Iqra shows us the power of theelements spiritually when they attain their perfect states andhow they will combine to make the revelation possible.

Verily to thy Lord is the return (of all)

    Comments of Brother Yusuf Ali:

Man is not self-sufficient, either as an individual, or in his

collective capacity. If he arrogates Allahs gifts to himself, he isreminded backwards, of his lowly physical origin (from adrop of animal matter), and forwards, of his responsibility andfinal return to Allah.

    [1+50+50+1+30+10+200+2+2+20+1+30+200+200+3+70+10]

Removing the zero in the numbers of verses 8

    1+5+5+1+3+1+2+2+2+2+1+3+2+2+3+7+1 43

In the verse there is 17 letters and multiplying 17X43 731

The word Alaq [ ] [ ] 100+30+70 or 1+3+7 there arethe presence of numbers 7,3,1 like in verse 8

So what is the relation of the word the clot or Al-Alaq tothis verse?

Our body is a combination mainly of the four elements ofnature and the element light when the soul is breath in the body.Every elements has two types of veils, veils of darkness andlight with 70 000 veils each which are under the influence of theego who is under the command of the mind and to accessspiritually to God we have to ascend beyond the veils that is wehave to remove them. However, the Holy Prophet Muhammad( ) did not need to undertake this process as he was already

been purified since he was a child.

Every human being has to go back to his Lord and we needto undergo this course of action otherwise after we die our soulwill have to live in other life world to compensate our action orcontinue what we begin. Hell and Paradise the two abodescommon man has to choose between.

When the Holy Prophet Muhammad ( ) left the cave andcame back home he was trembling and in another state. His

beloved wife the bless Lady Khatijah [may God bless her inner being] said to the Holy Prophet Muhammad ( ):

Be firm. By him who dominates Lady Khadijah's soul, I pray and hope that you will be the Prophet of this nation. ByGod, He will not let you down. You will be kind to your kin;your speech will all be true; you will rescue the weary; entertainthe guest and help the truth to prevail." Reassured, the HolyProphet Muhammad ( ) thanked Lady Khadijah and wasgrateful for her faith. Exhausted, he fell asleep.

This sleep was to be followed by a spiritual life of utmoststrength, a life whose sublimity and beauty was to confront eachand every mind. His life was to be dedicated purely to God, to

truth, and to humanity.Lady Khadijah ran to her cousin Waraqah ibn Nawfal who,

had already become a Christian and had translated part of theEvangel into Arabic. When she finished telling him what theHoly Prophet Muhammad ( ) had seen and heard and of hercompassionate and hopeful response to her husband, Waraqah

broke into these words: "Holy, Holy! By Him who dominatesWaraqah's soul, if your report is true, O Khadijah, this must bethe Great Spirit that spoke to Moses.

The Holy Prophet Muhammad ( ) must be the Prophet ofthis nation. Tell him that he must be firm." Lady Khadijahreturned home and found Muhammad still asleep. For a while, she stared at him lovingly, faithfully, and hopefully. Suddenlyshe noticed that he was shivering, breathing deeply and

    perspiring.

As he opened his eyes, he heard the angel say, "O you wholie wrapped in your mantle. Arise and warn. Glorify your Lord.Purify yourself. Shun uncleanliness. Give not in order to havemore in return. For the sake of your Lord endure patiently."[Qur'an, 73:1-7].

Seeing him in this state, Khatijah pleaded that he returns tohis bed and resumes his rest. However, Muhammad sprang tohis feet and said to her, "The time of slumber and rest is past, OLady Khadijah. Gabriel has commanded me to warn men and tocall them to God and to His worship. But whom shall I call? And who will listen to me?" Lady Khadijah tried to appease and

reassure him, to encourage him with predictions of success. Shetold him what she had heard from Waraqah and declared to himher Islam, i.e., her faith in his prophet hood.

It was natural for Lady Khadijah to be the first one to

believe in the Holy Prophet Muhammad ( ) for many longyears she had known him to be the exemplar of truthfulness, fidelity, honesty, charity, and compassion.

In his many retreats during the last few years, she hadnoticed how he had been constantly preoccupied with the searchfor the truth, with the truth alone; how he had sought that truthwith his heart, mind, and spirit beyond the idolatroussuperstitions of the people and their sacrifices, and beyond thedeities that are capable of neither good nor evil but which the

    people venerated without avail.

She had witnessed his great doubt and utter perplexity onhis return from the cave of Hira' after the first revelation. Sheasked him to tell her when the angel would come. When he didshe seized the Holy Prophet Muhammad ( ) and placed himon her left leg, then on her right leg, then in her lap, alwaysasking him whether he was still seeing the angel andMuhammad answering in the affirmative.

She covered him with a cloth and asked the Holy ProphetMuhammad ( ) whether he still saw the angel, but the angelthen disappeared. At this, her doubt that the appearance was thatof the devil rather than of the angel was dissolved finally.
