The mythical lion threw out lettuce as a sign of good luck for everyone in the coming year. “At Stokes Wood Primary School the health and safety, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children is of paramount importance.” Boys’ football v Langmoor After several postponements due to rain and a water logged pitch, the two teams played. We lost 3-0. Apparently, VAR would have been useful in the run up to their first goal as there was a handball! However, in the end despite giving their all, another 2 goals went in for Langmoor. Well played all. Y5 visited Saint Thomas More Church as

part of their RE and literacy learning. It was

very interesting. The children met the parish

priest and were taken round by the pupils in

Y5 at Mrs Crosse’s school. The children were

very pleased to see Mrs Crosse! The children

all had a playtime together as well.
