Dr Abdul Kalam Azad (11th President of India)Born 15 October 1931, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam , was the 11th President of India, who served from 2002 to 2007. During his term as President, he was popularly known as the People's President

Before his term as India's president, he worked as an aeronautical engineer with DRDO and ISRO. He is popularly known as the Missile Man of India for his work on development of Ballistic Missile and space rocket technology.

In India he is highly respected as a scientist and as an engineer. Kalam played a pivotal organizational, technical and political role in India's Pokhran II nuclear test in 1998.

He is chancellor of Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (Thiruvanthapuram), a professor at Anna University(Chennai) and adjunct/visiting faculty at many other academic and research institutions across India.

Prof David Perkins (Prof Harvard University)David Perkins received his Ph.D. in mathematics and artificial intelligence from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1970.

As a graduate student he also was a founding member of Project Zero at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. This research and development group was initially concerned with the psychology and philosophy of education in the arts, and later broadened greatly to encompass cognitive development and cognitive skills in both humanistic and scientific domains.

He is a senior professor of education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

David Perkins' research on creativity resulted in the book, The Mind's Best Work (Harvard University Press, 1981), a well-received examination of the psychology of creativity. He has also authored other books like “The Intelligent Eye – Learning to think by looking at Art”, Archimedes’ Bathtub: The Art and Logic of Breakthrough Thinking and more.
