Fourteen (14) faculties and nursing students provided health clinics and anesthesia services on a mission trip to Dominican Republic (February, 2007). • Sharon Edwards led a small group of undergraduate nursing students to Dominican Republic (May, 2008). • Fifteen (15) faculties and nursing students provided health clinics and anesthesia services on a mission trip to Dominican Republic (February, 2008). • Ten (10) faculties and nursing students provided health clinics on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic (March, 2009). • Twenty-four (24) faculties and nursing students provided health clinics on a mission trip to Dominican Republic (February 2009). • Sharon Evans led a group of 9 undergraduate nursing students to the Dominican Republic for a one-week mission trip (January, 2010). • Thirty-five (35) faculties and nursing students provided health clinics on a mission trip to Dominican Republic (January, 2010). • Twenty-four (24) faculties and nursing students provided health clinics and anesthesia services on a mission trip to Dominican Republic (February, 2010). • Sharon Evans co-led 4 undergraduate students on a Go Trip to China (May, 2011) • Thirty-six (36) faculties and nursing students provided health clinics on a mission trip to Dominican Republic (January, 2011). • Wendy Bishop, April Yearwood, and Molly Wright traveled to the Dominican Republic for a one-week medical mission opportunity for nurse anesthesia students (February, 2011). • Cindy Powers organized food drive (Germantown BSNA) for Baptist Children’s home (2012). • Kelly Harden led foot care ministry at Room at the Inn at Englewood Baptist Church (2012). • Shari Wherry served on medical mission trip to Mexico (2012). • Drs. Crihfield, Harden, Thornton-Orr, Powers, and Sherrie Turner traveled to the Dominican Republic for a one-week medical mission opportunity for nurse practitioner students (2012). • Twenty-nine (29) faculties and nurse anesthesia students traveled to the Dominican Republic to provide clinics in villages surrounding Juan Dolio and Santo

Domingo as well as providing anesthesia care in operating rooms of El Buen Samaritano in La Romano. Care was provided for over 500 patients in 4 days (2012). • Cindy Powers serves as volunteer at Shelter for victims of Apartment building Fire

(2012).

• Twenty-four (24) undergraduate nursing faculties and students completed a five-day mission trip to Blackey, Kentucky to provide community-based nursing education (October, 2012). • Kelly Harden organized foot care ministry for Room at the Inn at Englewood Baptist Church (2012-2013). • • Thirty-eight (38) faculties and nursing students completed a weeklong mission trip to Dominican Republic to provide community-based nursing care clinics (January, 2013). • Thirty-two (32) faculties and nurse anesthesia students completed a weeklong mission trip to Dominican Republic to provide community-based nursing care clinics (January, 2013). • Thirty-one (31) faculties and nurse anesthesia students completed a weeklong mission trip to Dominican Republic to provide community-based nursing care clinics and anesthetic management for surgical procedures (January, 2013). • Forty-two (42) faculties and nursing students completed a weeklong mission trip to Dominican Republic to provide community-based nursing care clinics (January, 2014).

Drs. Kelly Harden, Patsy Crihfield, Darel Davis, Shari Wherry, Cindy Powers, Professor Joy Thomason, and Sherrie Turner led a group of 40 students and faculty to the Dominican Republic in January of 2014. Health promotion teaching, medical care, and evangelism were provided in remote villages to over 1,000 people in 4 days. Drs. Kelly Harden, Patsy Crihfield, Darel Davis, Shari Wherry, Cindy Powers, Professor Joy Thomason, and Sherrie Turner led a group of 43 students and faculty to the Dominican Republic in January of 2015. Health promotion teaching, medical care, and evangelism were provided in remote villages to over 1,000 people in 4 days. Glynis Blackard coordinated the first mission trip for undergraduate students on Hendersonville campus to Blackey, Kentucky (2013). Teresa Johnson assisted in the coordination of undergraduate mission trip to Blackey, Kentucky (Spring 2014). Teresa Johnson participated as an adult mentor to teens in church youth group, Hendersonville Church of Christ (2013-2014). Teresa Johnson participated in serving the homeless in Madison, Tennessee (2014). Teresa Johnson participated in Community Service Day at Hendersonville Church of Christ (2014). Teresa Johnson participated in winter clothing give away and assisted with yard sale benefitting feeding the impoverished of Sumner County (2014). Glynis Blackard participated in building a handicap ramp at an inner city church in Orange Mound in Memphis, Tennessee (Fall 2013).

Allison Davis served in the Bledsoe Baptist Association Toy Store ministry (2014). Allison Davis served on two church committees: the Angel Tree ministry, benefiting families in the Appalachian region of Tennessee and a clothing drive which served the local community (2013-2014). Elisha Hill worked with the PTO at Madison Creek Elementary providing community service (painting schools, back to school clean up) as well as assisting in the state-wide initiative for a morning of prayer with teachers, students, and families. She also served in the hunger fight, serving food to the homes population in Nashville, TN (2014). Phyllis Moore assisted in organizing Relay for Life event with Alamo First Christian Church (2015). Dr. Molly Wright was a team member of an international mission trip to Port-au-Prince, Haiti (2015).
