Our vision at Haddon Primary School is to provide a positive, safe learning community which motivates and supports students to become active learners for the
21st Century.
Pupil Free Days Term 2
Friday June 6 Monday 14th July
We have an enthusiastic
gardener! Any parents who
would be keen to become part
of a gardening group please give
us a call. There is a small budget
for the gardening team and we
would love to see some projects
take off!
Please make sure all school
payments are made in a timely
fashion. We are not able to
provide credit and I have noticed
some families are becoming
quite late with payments. We do
not wish to offend but we do
need families to settle accounts
on time. Could I also ask that
there are no late, Parents and
Friends lunch orders. Any that
come in late will be sent home
as this can become difficult for
the parents who kindly organise
the lunches for us.
Reports from Cave Hill have
been very positive; it would
appear that lots of fun has been
enjoyed by all. Staff will no
doubt be very tired as many
children appear to have talked
and giggled well into the
evening. Our camping program
is an integral extra curricula
activity and we are always very
grateful to staff for their
enthusiasm and willingness to
participate. In many schools,
camps have been phased out of
the school program or held
every second year.
Many parents would have seen
the new car park next to the fire
brigade opposite the school.
This car park has been
established by the Golden
Plains Shire to assist with
parking congestion around the
school. I would like to
encourage parents to avail
themselves of the car park,
however students are not
permitted to leave the school
precinct to cross over the staff
car park and the road for
collection .Care and safety are
our number 1 priority and we
rely on parents to support us in
this.
School Council will be held on Friday June 13, in the school
library at 2.30pm
