WHAT IS MANAGEMENT

• Management is the art of getting things done through and with the people in formally organized groups.

• It is the art of creating an environment in which the people can perform as individuals and yet cooperate towards attainment of goals.

• It involves the utilization of the given resources through the process of planning, organizing, directing and controlling to attain the stated objectives.
