Bremerton School District Libraries can help your child find that "just right" book!
Bremerton Schools have added stacks and stacks of new books to the library collections with the goal of getting students hooked
on reading while developing healthy reading habits.Students check out books every week and can return or renew
their book the next week.
Go to your school's Library/Media webpage: www.bremertonschools.org
What happens if a book is lost or damaged beyond repair?
What happens if a book is damaged?Even when students are responsible, books get damaged or lost. If a book is damaged, please let the library staff know so repairs
can be made.
If a book is lost or damaged beyond repair, it is our policy to collect payment or replacement of the book.
Overdue and lost book notices are sent home with students. Payments can be made at the front office.
When a student forgets their book, they cannot borrow another book until the book is returned. As a reminder,
overdue notices are sent home regularly.
How can I help my child learn to be responsible for library books?
Have conversations with your child about being responsible for library books as these books are shared
with all students. Check out the talking points on the back of this flyer!
