Purpose of School Improvement Plan (SIP)
• Required by WAC 180-16-220 Data driven Promotes a positive impact on student learning Includes a continuous improvement process Best practice for supporting continual improvement
efforts Process to monitor, adjust and update plan
School Improvement Plan Process
• Leadership Teams work with the principal to develop the School Improvement Plan (SIP) for use of all resources based on assessment data
• Principals meet with Booth administrators to share plans and budget projections
• Plans submitted to the School Board for approval • Plans are implemented at the school • Plans are monitored and adjusted throughout the
school year
