Shamrock Gardens Elementary SMART Goals

● Provide a duty-free lunch period for every teacher on a daily basis. ● Provide duty-free instructional planning time for every teacher under G.S. 115C-105.27 and -301.1, with the goal of providing an average of at least five hours of planning time per week, to the maximum extent that the safety and proper supervision of students may allow during regular student contact hours. ● Throughout the 2017-2018 school year, Shamrock Gardens Elementary will provide every student with a positive school climate, under CMS regulation JICK-R, by providing character building lessons, and promoting a safe learning environment free of bullying and harassment ● For the 2017-2018 Academic Year, Shamrock Garden Staff will work to strengthen Driven by Data Instruction so that we will make growth in all subgroups with a focus on our subgroup population of African-Americans and those scholars we serve that are Economically Disadvantaged. In addition, Shamrock Gardens will make a minimum of 10% point growth in all areas of the EOG. ● For the 2017-2018 Academic Year, school faculty and staff will work to enhance the school culture of Shamrock Gardens for scholars and staff members. We will utilize leadership and collaboration with peers so Shamrock Gardens will have no more than 7.5% teacher turnover, meaning no more than two highly qualified teachers will leave Shamrock Gardens Elementary, with the exception of those that leave for promotions and/or move out of state. ● Maximize academic achievement in a personalized 21st century learning environment for every child to graduate

college and career ready.
