Greetings Adesoye College community! May's newletter
is dedicated to Mental Health awareness. Globally during
the month of May schools and organizations take time to
bring more awareness to the issue of Mental Health.
Adesoye College is dedicated to academic excellence as
well as student mental wellness. The World Health
Organization (WHO) research indicates, "half of all mental
health conditions start by 14 years of age, but most cases
are undetected and untreated." Thus, it's most important
to bring Mental Health awareness.
Often, students, parents and teachers may experience
increased feelings of anxiety and stress during this time,
due to the high stakes exams. However, ACO is being
proactive in providing preventive strategies that can
minimize these feelings.
Please enjoy our May Newsletter! Lime Green is the MH
awareness color. Blessing to you!
