1 Introduction

1.1 BackgroundSchool ERP is a student infomation system, i.e. a school management information system currently developed by Capita. It is the most widely used MIS in UK schools, claiming over 80% market share across the primary and secondary sectors. School ERP uses a client-server architecture; the back-end service is based around Microsoft SQL Server with some business logic handled by a custom.

1.2 Design GoalsThe module should be designed in such a way, that users will find it easy and intuitive to use. The module should be easy to navigate and understand.
