Classrooms of DMIS reverberated with our students love

for their mother when the children tried to express their

gratitude and love for their mother by making a beautiful

    hand bag with paper plate.

This week there was a combined activity for K.G-1 &

K.G-2 children. They made beautiful flowers on the paper

plate bag and decorated it beautifully for their mother.

This activity helped them to improve their hand-eyecoordination and imagination.

The primary & secondary students chose letter to

mother and mothers day card as means of expressing

    their heart felt emotions.

Red DayRed day was celebrated in Kindergarten, to help the

children identify the colour RED. The activity was

conducted in play area, where the children, dressed in

RED colour sang songs describing RED colour fruits and

they also enacted the story, Little Red riding hood. The

children were extremely excited and eager to learn new

vocabulary. To reinforce the colour RED, the children

were given a worksheet and were asked to colour the

    objects in RED.

    Poster Campaign

Save Animals, save the future. This was the mantra chanted

by the students of Grade 8

CBSE-I as part of their poster

    campaign. The students had

come up with very interesting topics for their campaign. They

ensured that the campaign was not just baseless talk rather

they made it more intriguing by portraying their thoughts

through role play, presentation etc. It was really

heartwarming to see the concern of the children. It was a

preview to a world of social activists who would risk anything

to save the planet. One can feel extremely proud of these

students who came up with such thoughtful campaigns to

enlighten the students about the plight of animals who are

nearing extinction and are already branded as endangered

    species.
