In recent years, school lunches have come along way in terms of nutritional content. Nowadays, our school lunches have to comply withWelsh Government legislation ensuring pupils havea nutritionally, balanced meal. As a service, we arealso committed to ensuring that we serve foodwhich you can trust, using freshly prepared seasonalingredients. Other benefits of a school lunch include:✓ Time saved in the evenings/mornings not having
to prepare a packed lunch✓ School meals offer a variety of vegetables and
fruit which help towards your child’s ‘5 a day’✓ Sitting down and eating together helps develop
social skills and table manners✓ Studies have shown that children are more
receptive if they have had a fulfilling meal atlunchtime
We encourage all parents and pupils to ‘Give ourSchool Meals a Try’. We also welcome feedback inrelation to the service we provide and our menus.Email us at [email protected]
