WINTER MENU
New on our
We had a great response to our recent school meal survey. We have listened to parents and incorporated their suggestions into our new menu.
WINTER We’ve increased the number of
times that fish appears on the menu.
Fruit is highlighted as the most
important part of dessert every
day - children can pick as much
fruit as they like to go with any
of the desserts available.
More pulses have been added to dishes, such as blended in sauces.
The level of added sugars in the puddings that we offer has been reduced even further. When compared to our summer menu in 2015, desserts now contain approximately 40% less added sugars.
We are now making our own live EasiYo yoghurt. Every spoonful of our new yoghurt contains billions of live lactic cultures. These friendly bacteria help to keep the not so friendly bacteria at bay, which is great for our gut health and helps strengthen the immune system.
