PROJECT BRIEF

Individual Ideas, Uniqueness and Innovation:

Personal ideas, uniqueness and innovation are the font of your creative imagination.

Creative identity, uniqueness and innovation.

The theme is the search for personal identity by locating your personal voice as a creative.

When developing this project more attention will be expected in the design process. Film,

literature, music and art, as social reflections, are the most important inspirational

references for designers.

These elements, together with original primary research (i.e., self-generating), represent

some of the thematic areas that we ask you to consider when undertaking a

contemporary research process that supports your project. Identity is formed through

research, investigation, exploration and interpretation of the world that creative people

can offer.

Bachelor of Arts (3-Year 180 ECTS) – “Fashion and Costume”

Design at least two outfits, including accessories, mood boards, colour and material

charts, and 300-word descriptions.

If the project is based on clothing, then the design should show which text, film or book

was made for, and for whom or market the clothing was designed for.

Bachelor of Arts (3-Year 180 ECTS) – “Fashion Editor, Styling & Communication”

After research and analysis of individual topics, applicants must submit project proposals

in the form of newspapers, digital reports, films, etc., with a description of 300 words.

Undergraduate Three-Year Course in Fashion Design Management

The concept of sustainability rests on three main factors equally important: environmental

sustainability (aimed at preserving the natural resources of the planet), social sustainability

(aimed at maintaining the standard of living of all the human beings involved globally)

and economic sustainability (aimed at ensuring the feasibility and the revenue of the

companies involved). These themes are extremely complex because each one of them

imply a series of scientific, economic elements of business and communication models

that require a constant upgrade and accurate preparation. To participate to the

scholarship regulation for the new Undergraduate course in Fashion Design Management

we invite you to write an essay of 1000 words that tells your vision of this theme in relation

to one or more fashion brands of your choice. The evaluation criteria will consider: writing

skills, research and personal analytic development, knowledge of the sector.

ACCADEMIC MASTER AND MASTER OF ARTS

For those applying for a master's degree, we ask that the chosen personal theme be

transformed into one essential element: responsible innovation.

The macro themes that affect creativity in all industries are easily found in responsible

innovation, implementing the sustainability process (reuse, recycling, upcycling, km0,

respect for social and production needs, etc.) and consumers' new attitudes towards the

fashion industry.

Transparency of production processes and conscious choices of the consumer will

increasingly be at the center of the work of creatives who must propose identity and

personal visions in the context of respect for codes that have become indispensable.

In developing a personal and identity project we ask you to pay attention to at least one

of the aspects related to this sensitivity.
