A scholarship at Newcomb Secondary College offers your
son or daughter the opportunity to experience outstanding
curriculum opportunities and a College environment that
fosters high levels of personal achievement in specific
areas of endeavour.
Our new tech precinct was completed in March, 2019. The
redevelopment encompasses two new classrooms,
canteen facilities, and the Food Technology centre. These
facilities compliment the already redeveloped Learning
Resource Centre, Administration facilities, Middle Years
buildings and Technology Block. The Science Block and
Language Centre are modern spaces, ideal for student
learning.
A breadth of educational opportunities encourage students
to pursue, discover and fulfil their individual interests.
Our commitment to an all-round healthy young person is
evidenced through our sports and outdoor education
programs featuring the very successful bike tour, our
Student Leadership Programs and a dedicated team of
student wellbeing support.
Our Instrumental Music Program is well recognised across
our region for their outstanding individual, band and
ensemble successes.
Our community involvement has challenged our students to
see the valued role that young people play in our
community and the personal rewards this brings.
Phil Honeywell - Principal
