As we reported last month, we are able to fund 12 $1,500 scholarships – with additional $500 book scholarships awarded to each of the three Allnatt Memorial Scholarship winners this year, based on the availability of funds. I want to thank CW5 Joachim Consiglio, CW2 (Ret) Gerald Wentworth, CW4 (Ret) Harold Looney, and CW4 (Ret) Jack Du Teil – for their service in evaluating and scoring the applicants. This is not a simple task and it grows in complexity each year, as the submissions become more detailed. In addition to all of our generous Chapters and Members, I would also like to reiterate USAWOASF’s thanks to the following benefactors of our Foundation: Corporate Partner PenFed; the anonymous donor, who set up the RAO Freedom Scholarship; the Heavy Metal ICU; and the Above the Best Silver Chapter (ATBSC). On behalf of the foundation, I would also like to thank Corporate Partner Peter Radvanyi, of Radvanyi Wealth Management, for his investment advice and assistance with USAWOASF donated funds. Between this and the continued generosity of our Members and partners, our Warrant Officer kids truly benefited this year.
