Up to five students will each receive a scholarship of $7,500 to assist in their attainment of baccalaureate degrees

Must demonstrate high academic achievement – all questions used to evaluate your overall academic experience while in community college

Must be enrolled at a community college through March 2011

Must have a minimum of 50 semester credits by the time of transfer to a senior institution

Minimum cumulative 3.5 GPA for all coursework from the past five years

Admitted to a four-year college with junior level status in 2011.

Application is available online in January and is due

by 11:59 pm CST March 1, 2011

Eligibility: Must obtain an associate degree between

December 1, 2010, and August 31, 2011, or be transferring to a university (All students must have a minimum of 36 semester college-level credits by 12/31/10 and 48 credits by 8/31/11)

Two students per campus may be nominated Minimum cumulative 3.50 GPA with a minimum

of 30 semester college-level credit hours taken at a community college over the past 5 years

All-USA/All-StateAll-USA/All-State Rewards Rewards

Up to 20 team members are named. Each receives a $2,500 stipend and is honored at the AACC Convention and featured in USA TODAY in April 2011

300 Students will be named Coca-Cola Scholars. 50 Gold Scholars will receive $1,500 each, 50 Silver Scholars will receive $1,250 each and 50 Bronze Scholars will receive $1,000 each. Gold, Silver and Bronze Scholars will also be featured in USA TODAY in April 2011. 150 Finalists will be selected and will each receive a $1,000 stipend

New Century Scholars

Highest-scoring student in each state receives $2,000, and is honored at AACC

One student from Canada, and one student from an international community college with a Phi Theta Kappa chapter will each receive a $2,000 scholarship

All-State Academic Teams

37 States sponsor All-State Academic Teams offering more than $41 million in scholarships

Students must be nominated for All-USA in order to participate

Active member of Phi Theta Kappa Graduate with an associate degree between

December 1, 2010, and August 31, 2011 or transfer to a university. (All students must have 45 semester college-level credits by 12/31/10 and 53 credits by 8/31/11)

Minimum cumulative 3.5 GPA for all coursework from the past five years

Must have a minimum of 30 semester college-level credits completed at a community college over the past 5 years

Admitted to a four-year college with junior level status in 2011

Up to twenty Guistwhite Scholars receive $5,000 each

Winners are recognized on Phi Theta Kappa’s website & are mailed a certificate & medallion.

Student must apply as part of the Leaders of Promise Scholarship application

Students must have attended a Mississippi High School and be currently attending a Mississippi Community College

One student will be awarded a $1,500 award

Application deadline is the same as the Leaders of Promise Scholarship:

Designated for students enrolled in registered nursing, respiratory care or emergency medical services associate degree programs

Open to both Phi Theta Kappa members & non-members

Applicant must have completed 50% of their course work leading towards achieving an associate degree

Minimum 3.0 GPA

Applicant must submit financial information for the current academic year – applicant must demonstrate financial need

Up to 25 scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded

Annually awards 200 scholarships of $1,250 and $2,500 to students transferring from a community college to a senior institution

Must be of Hispanic heritage, a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident, have a 3.0 GPA, and must apply for federal financial aid through the FAFSA

Annually awards up to 30 scholarships worth up to $30,000

Must be nominated by your community college

Must have a 3.50 GPA, sophomore status by 12/31/10 or have graduated in the past 5 years from a community college, and plan to enroll full time in a baccalaureate institution in fall 2011
