Schnoor, Double Diamond Take Atlantic National

Champions paraded at 2015 Atlantic National Super Roll of Victory Angus Show.

Angus enthusiasts led 194 entries at the 2015 Atlantic National Super-Point Roll

of Victory (ROV) Angus Show May 24 in Timonium, Md. Travis Pembrook, Fairview, Okla., evaluated 164 females, 23 bulls and three cow-calf pairs before naming champions.

Seldom Rest BRMF Bardot 890 claimed supreme champion and grand champion female honors. Sydney Schnoor, Chowchilla,

Calif., owns the March 2014 daughter of EXAR Classen 1422B that first won late spring calf champion. Champion Hill Georgina 8547 was named reserve grand champion female after first winning senior calf champion. David Smith, Boulder, Colo., owns the November 2013 daughter of SAV Angus Valley 1867.

DDA Gemstone 1439 claimed grand champion bull honors. Double Diamond Angus, Chrisman, Ill., owns the May 2014 son of DDA Dameron Northern Light that first won summer calf champion. Anne Patton Schubert, Taylorsville, Ky., owns the reserve grand champion bull. APS Press Man is a December 2013 son of PVF Insight 0129 and first won senior calf champion.

Jade Zimmerman, Reinholds, Pa., owns the grand champion cow-calf pair. Frey’s Cheryknol Arkpride U41 is a February 2009 daughter of G13 Stand Out. A November 2014 son of Cherry Knoll Product 1182 is at side. Champion Hill Georgina 8092 claimed reserve grand champion cow-calf pair. Catherine Cowles, Rockfield, Ky., owns the November 2011 daughter of SAV Prosperity 9131. A January 2015 daughter of SAV Brave 8320 completes the winning pair.

Named Premier Breeder, Champion Hill, Bidwell, Ohio, won the produce-of-dam class with progeny of SAV Blackbird 5296 and the best-six-head class.

Cheyenne Jones, Franklinton, La., was named Premier Exhibitor, and Hunter Wimmer, Bedford, Va., was recognized with the Calderazzo Volunteer Award.

The show was dedicated posthumously to Cory Watt, Iva, S.C., former National Junior Angus Board (NJAB) chairman.
