within a Semester Writing Workshop Course

• Week One: Share photos of projects and read aloud an example multigenre report.

• Week Two: Brainstorming topics, interviewing tips, and research proposal.

• (Weeks Three-Five: Other lessons and assignments that are not part of the project.)

• Week Six: Academic research, reading, and summary.

• Week Seven: Prewriting, drafting, and narrative genre selection.

• Week Eight: Poetry genres, photo writing, publishing options, and project planning.

• Week Nine: Writing from another point of view, allegory, and genre analysis reports.

• Week Ten: Nonfiction writing, inserting direct academic quotes, and advocacy genres.

• Week Eleven: Revision, transitions, and endnotes.

• Week Twelve: Other genres and the cover essay.

• Week Thirteen: Publishing, works cited and proofreading.

• Week Fourteen: Presentations and sharing.
