Solid to Planes
A square plane is inscribed into
a cube at certain points deter-
mined by the distance from the
corner of the cube.
Upon exploding the planes at the
intersection two sets of triangles
were derived, an isosceles and
scalene. There were an even set
of triangles organized around a
central spine.
Solid to Planes
Intersecting Planes were discov-
erred to make up the star-like
qualities of this new form. The ul-
timate goal was to use the com-
ponents of the star to create oth-
er forms by the discovery of its
aggregating qualitites.
Elements of the Form
For construction, the amount of
planes were lowered from 6 to
4 by changing the determined
points.
Eight (8) triangular planes were
derived. However the distribu-
tion of isosceles and scalene tri-
angles were uneven. There were
6 isosceles and 2 scalene. Also
the anglles between the isosce-
les were less than the angles be-
tween the isosceles and scalene.
