9th Technical Committee Meeting, Barcelona (ES), March 26-27, 2012 SC C2 Strategic Plan New SC C2 structure: • Within SC C2 a new structure was introduced. • A new Strategic Advisory Group was created. • Members of this AG include the SC Chairman and Secretary, the three former AG conveners and all current WG conveners. • This Strategic AG plans to hold meetings approx. twice a year. • Advantages are faster reaction possibilities and an intensified horizontal dialogue between the WGs of the three main areas of SC C2. • The former AGs were disbanded. • With the new structure, the study committee is in line with the SC reference model decided by the TC: “Advisory Groups with only one person should be avoided.” • The Strategic Plan for SC C2 will be reviewed within the next months. • The review will take into account the TC Strategic Plan, to which the revised C2 plan will be aligned.
