The Delaware County Tubercu- losis and Health association is dedicated to a year-round program aimed to prevent the spread of tuberculosis. Early discovery and early diag- nosis is the important feature in the prevention of tuberculosis. In September over 7,000 persons in Delaware county had chest x- rays through the facilities of the association. Kindergarten had a Halloween party Thursday. Refreshments consisted of brownies and Kool- ade. The first grade children have been enjoying Halloween fim, maddng pumpkins, black cats, pic- tures and finally a grab-bag end- ed the week’s activities. The third grade is learning cursive writing. We are anxious to write like the other classes up- stairs. We are learning about homes of different people of the world. He came from the MargaretviUe school. Thursday John Beers came back to school. He was absent several days with a broket knee cap. Mrs. Bramley’s Sixth Grade One of our classmates, Vera Stocksieker, showed the grand champion Holstein heifer at the school fair. We listened to Scheherazade, a symphony by Rimsky-Korsakov. We enjoyed the music as well as the story of the Arabian nights. pur chairman for this week has been’ Richard Condon. Our milk chairman, Brenda Stocksieker, has done a good job. The homemaking 2 class is do- ing a porject in ceramics. Mrs. John Jakszewski is assisting Miss Doig with the details.
