EXTENSION CORDS

This appliance is for use on a nominal 120-volt circuit, and has a grounded plug that looks like the plug illustrat-ted below. Atemporary adapter may be used to connectthis plug to a 2-pole receptacle, as shown below, if aproperly grounded outlet is not available. The temporaryadapter should be used only until a properly groundedoutlet can be installed by a qualified electrican. Thegreen colored rigid ear, lug, or the like, extending fromthe adapter must be connected to a permanent groundsuch as a properly grounded outlet box cover. When-ever the adapter is used. it must be held in place by ametal screw.

Every effortshou!d be imade _to:prevent foreign materialfromenteting the motor:i When operated ur_ler condi-tions likely to permit accumtllations of dust, dirt;or wastewithin the motor, a visual inspection should be made atfrequent intervals. Accumulations of dry dust can usu-ally be blown out successfully.NOTE: Motors used on wood-working tools are particu-larly susceptible to the accumulation of sawdust andwood chips and should be blown out or "vacuumed"frequently to prevent interference with normal motorventilation.

To remove dust, blow off motor with a low pressure airhose.

_CAUTION: To avoid eye Injury or adverse

reaction to dust, high air pressure should not beused especially In poorly ventilated areas.
