K.A.CARE projections
• The most recent K.A.CARE projections envision a total of 24 GW capacity of renewable power by 2020
• increasing to 54 GW capacity by
2032.
1. The Introductory Round is expected to result in contracts for 500 to 800 MW.
2. 2 GW to 3 GW capacity is considered to be a reasonable total target capacity for the first procurement,
3. increasing to between 3 GW to 4 GW for the second procurement.
• Over the first five years of the program, approximately 5 GW capacity of renewable capacity is to be added.
