Project Description

The website needed to be an independent entity with a life beyond the show

The aim was to take viewer participation and engagement possibilities to the next level, and to make the website UI welcoming, user friendly for content consumption and discussion and trigger increased engagement

The designs had to be responsive for a seamless experience across devices

The role of the website was to Build, Engage and Retain user base

Context: Star TV wanted to create a website as an extension of the network’s social awareness show, Satyamev Jayate that initiates people’s participation and educates them about the social issues that prevail in India.

Satyamev Jayate (Truth Alone Prevails) is an Indian television talk show that aired on various channels highlighting sensitive social issues prevalent in India.

The IdeaThe idea was to create a portal so vibrant with ready 'solutions' that people would see it as the go-to platform to discuss social issues, seek help and subsequently take tangible steps to solve them.

• The feature “Vote for change” allows people to sign petitions and be a part of the change.

• The feature ‘Your stories’ allows users to publish their stories under the show’s relevant thematic episodes.

change that Satyamev Jayate brought about.

centric approach has been taken

consolidating comments specific to episodes
