RENZO FANCELLU Mustang Trainer from Falcon, Colorado

I began working with mustangs when I adopted ‘Curly Beau”. Receiving training from my mentor Bob Browning gentle-ing and saddle starting mustangs. Soon after I learned the Browning method I started to put together other things I learned over the years along with things I picked up from the horses themselves, and teaching people how to bond with their horse and make it a mutual connection. Renzo will be offering a one day clinic at the ’Wild Horse Festival. To enroll your horse for the day and reserve your spot in the arena contact Renzo at 719-304-4642.

GINGER KATHRENS The Cloud Foundation

The Cloud Foundation, is a Colorado 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, that grew out of Ginger Kathrens’ knowledge and fear for not only Cloud’s herd but other wild horses in the West. “I began to realize that we were losing America’s wild horses,” Ginger says. “They are rounded up by the thousand, losing in an instant what they value most--freedom and family. I realized that even Cloud and his family were in danger.” www.thecloudfoundation.org

JAMES KLEINERT Filmmaker, Wild Horses and Renegades

“My interest in documenting American’s wild horses began while working on my film ‘Spirit Riders’ about the birth of an American Indian peace movement, as well as learning about the removal of these beautiful wild animals while living in Wyoming,” says Kleinert. “I’m excited for the opportunity to share my five year journey on Documentary Channel, and I hope this film will not only educate viewers about the disturbing, massive removal of our horses but to inspire change to the future of these precious animals.” www.theamericanwildhorse.com

TONY STROMBERG Equine Photographer

For two decades, Tony Stromberg made his mark as a very successful advertising photographer. Introduced seven years ago to horses, he has spent much of his time since then getting to learn the nuances and habits of his most beloved equine companions in their natural environ-ment. “The spirit of the horse”, quotes Tony, “is a magnificent teacher to humanity.” Oftentimes referred to as “visual poetry”, his images truly embrace and reveal the incredible beauty and grace of the horse. www.tonystromberg.com
