Backup Recovery system:

Project Name : Windows system testing – NetWorker

This project is a testing EMC Networker backup recovery product on Windows platform. Executing

various backup recovery test scenarios on windows platform, test coverage includes various

windows roles and features. Windows testing includes both manual and automation testing.

Responsibility includes writing new test case, preparing test matrix, preparing Test description

document [TDS].

Testing include various windows platforms like Win2003, Win2008 and Win2008 R2

Testing networker product with Windows cluster configuration

Testing networker product with Windows AD, DFS, and Hyper-V roles

Writing test scripts to automate windows test cases in regression cycle using PERL, Tcl

qualify ProLiant Storage products for the "Designed for Windows" logo for hardware for

the Windows Server operating systems.

Certification virtual appliance (CVA 2.2) Replacement for CVA 2.1 kit to prepare testsubmissions and qualify Proliant Storage products for the " VMware environment” .

Working with V7 package use to execute red hat test defined test cases on system under

test.

Working with latest shipping HP servers and smart array controllers

Worki ng with latest system software like firmware’s and device drivers to make red -hot

test cases pass

Project Name : IST - Storage Sustaining

Description : Sustaining storage controller driver/firmware testing in system level for every

release of the Smart Start cycle is carried out to validate their support on the related hardware

viz. Smart Array Storage Controller, LSI logic (SAS/SATA/SCSI HBA), new generation Proliant

servers. DAS technology is used to Validate Controller functionalities such as RAID Levels [0, 1,

5, 6, 50 and 60]. The focus of testing is on Controllers that are already released to market with

their compatible Storage boxes & Tape drives
