Survey Overview Youth Health Survey Questionnaire –Grades 7-12
Data collected from 9230 students from 116 schools from 18 school divisions/authorities:
The survey focused on risk and protective factors for chronic illness.
4-level reports: school, division, health region, and provincial
Oral Health Questions How many times do you brush your teeth in one
day?
About how long has it been since you last visited a dentist? Include visits to dental specialists such as Orthodontists.
How often during the last year have you had painful aching anywhere in your mouth? Do not include orthodontics (e.g. pain from braces).

Grants are available for schools and communities regardless of their participation in the survey
