With the Sarnafil® product line, Sika offers complete system solutions for membrane roofing. This includes the Sarnamatic 661, a technically advanced and tailor made automatic welding machine for safe and efficient welding. The machine is ideal for welding polymeric waterproofing membranes in building construction and civil engineering applications.

Safe and efficient operation

Welding parameters for all Sarnafil® and Sikaplan membranes can be quickly and easily selected from the menu of pre-programmed settings. Seam preparation using nozzle attachments provides reliable and rapid welding even when conditions are suboptimal, such as when the membrane is humide.

Complete set

The Sarnamatic 661 is delivered as a complete set in a robust steel box that protects it against weather, dirt and damage during transit. The set includes a power cord with plug conforming to local standards, operating manual in the local language, two nozzle attachments, and important accessories for operati-on. Of course the Sarnamatic meets all country-specific electrical and technical standards.

Ready for immediate use

Each welder undergoes a 24-hour continuous test at the factory. Only units that pass this hard test are released. Your Sarnamatic 661 will thus be ready for you to use immediately.

Optimal and efficient welding on the surface.

The special design of the Sarnamatic 661 allows welding as close as 100 mm to upstands.

The adjustable welding unit furthermore allows mechanical welding of membrane to clad sheet-metal flashing at parapets and roof edges. This makes a separate machine for executing these special details unnecessary.

Multifunctional and adaptable

The machine’s tracking alignment when welding on slopes is unmatched. It is achieved by the adjustable welding roller. Set at a slight skew as necessary, the adjustable rear roller compensates for drift of the machine. Constantly correcting the course of the welder is unnecessary.

With the Decor Profile conversion kit, it’s easy to efficiently weld Decor Profiles set at any spacing desired. No more time- consuming measuring for the profiles. Other practical, system-specific adapters are also available for the Sarnamatic 661.

The multifunctional Sarnamatic 661 makes installation work more efficient by reducing the number of hand-welded seams. With exchangeable heating elements, available as accessories, voltage can be selected as needed, either 230V or 400V.
