During the trip by bus to Mostar, passing through the towns Konjic and Jablanica, we will ride through the valley of the emeraldcharm in the central part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Jablanica is situated on the Neretva river and is wedged between each of the two highest mountains in Bosnia and Herzegovina Cvrsnica and Prenj. After jourvalley of the Neretva River we will arrive in Mostar. Mostar is the largest city in Herzegovina. Named after keepers bridges (bridge), on the banks of the Neretva River. 3. DAY, SARAJEVO-TRAVNIK-JAJCE-SARAJEVOAfter breakfast optional excursion to Travnik and Jajce. During the trip by bus to Travnik we will pass through smaller towns. Arrival in Travnik is scheduled for the afternoon. Travnik, was the capital of the Ottoman vizier from 1686th to 1850th, and even its cultural heritage dating back to that period. Retention in Travnik - city tour accompanied bytourist guide: the Clock Tower, a medieval fortress from the XV century, Jeni Mosque, the Süleymaniye Mosque and Colorful, Hafizadic house, “Blue Water”, birthplace of Ivo Andric... After sightseeing of Travnik we will continue traveling to Jajce. After arriving in Jajce lunch. After lunch, we will explore the sights of Jajce: Waterfall, Fortress, Catacombs, The Museum II AVNOJ, Ethno museum, Dizdar or Women's Mosque, Old or Hafizadica fountain, Pliva Lakes, Water Mill Complex “Mlincici”... After visiting Jajce we return to Sarajevo at the evening. About Central Bosnia region (Travnik and Jajce)As the birthplace of the Bosnian state, this region has shaped much of the cultural and historical heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Today, monuments around the region and, more strikingly, the region's everyday culture bear witness to Central Bosnia's rich and diverse history.A short history:The central part of Bosnia and Herzegovina was the seat of the Bosnian state in medieval times. Known as the Srebrena Bosna (Silver Bosna) region, it was the political, cultural and religious heart of Bosnia. All the Bosnian kings resided here. The unique 'heretic' Bosnian Church was the spiritual backbone of the small Slav communities that dotted the lush, green countryside until the 14th century. By 1340 the Franciscans had established their first order in Bosnia and in a short space of time Catholicism spread and monasteries were built in Kraljeva Sutjeska, Visoko, Kresevo and Fojnica.
