We provide specially designed housing for older people both in retirement housing with support and Extra Care housing with domiciliary care services.

Our aim is to support older people to maximise their independence, choice and dignity, we do this through:- Design- Activity / Customer involvement- Care and support- Well Being Services- Staffing

Experience and research shows that good

Quality Extra Care Housing:

Identifies a quarter of residents moving in reduce their care package needs within 3 months of moving in

Residents have a lower likelihood to be admitted to hospital for an overnight stay

Extra care housing translates to fewer falls

Living within an extra care setting with a positive impact on health through changing care packages could potentially equate to a saving of £5,432 per resident per year

longer how do we build on our success of supporting people with

chronic illness and dementia to reduce hospital stays and maintain a

level of independence?
