SAP AII 7.1 contains the following ABAP add-on components.- AIN 710 (AUTO-ID 7.1)- SAP_BS_FND 702- SCEMSRV 701 (optional, see Master Guide)

The packages for installing the ABAP add-on software components are on theCD that has material number 51036907.

This note describes the installation of the components AIN 710 andSAP_BS_FND 702.Information about the installation of SCEMSRV is available in Note 1320497.For information about the installation options, see the Master Guide.

2. Prerequisites for the installation of AIN or the delta upgrade toAIN 710

o Uninstalling AIN.Before you install AIN, keep in mind that it is not possible touninstall ABAP add-ons. Further restrictions concerning the upgradeand maintenance of your SAP System that are caused by installing anadd-on are described in the release strategy note.

o Required releaseInstallation: You require Enhancement Package 2 of SAP NetWeaver7.0.Add-on upgrade: You require AIN 400, AIN 510 or AIN 700. Werecommend that you include the AIN 710 package directly in theupdate to Enhancement Package 2 for SAP NetWeaver 7.00.The installation of AUTO-ID in SAP SCM, SAP SRM and SAPCRM is not supported.However, you can install AIN 710 on Enhancement Package 5 for SAPERP 6.0 (optional).

o Import the latest SPAM/SAINT update.Make sure that you have installed the latest SPAM/SAINT update inyour system. If a newer version is available on SAP ServiceMarketplace, import the new SPAM/SAINT update.

o Import the latest R3trans and tp.Ensure that you have imported the latest kernel version into yoursystem. If a newer version is available on SAP Service Marketplace,import the most recent kernel.

3. Release of AIN 710 with SAP Enhancement Packages

o For information about compatibility with SAP Enhancement Packages,refer to release strategy note 886136.

4. Preparing for the installation of AIN or the delta upgrade to AIN710

o Make Add-On AIN 710 availableThe installation CD for AIN 710 is not sent to all customersautomatically. Request the CD with material number 51036907 fromyour local subsidiary or download the CD from SAP ServiceMarketplace.

- Log on as user:<sid>adm on UNIX<SID>OFR on AS/400<SID>adm on Windows

- Switch to the directory <DIR_EPS_ROOT> of your SAP system(usually /usr/sap/trans/EPS). The directory <DIR_EPS_ROOT> isalso displayed under DIR_EPS_ROOT after you execute the reportRSPFPAR.

- Go to the higher-level directory of <DIR_EPS_ROOT>.

- To unpack the SAR archive K-710AGINAIN.SAR from the CD, use thefollowing statement:

The file named CSR0120031469_0042825.PAT should now be in thedirectory <DIR_EPS_ROOT>/in.

- The file in the archive K-710AGINAIN.SAR also supports theadd-on upgrade from AIN 400, AIN 510, or AIN 700 to AIN 710.

- Unpack the SAR archive K-702BHINSAPBSFND.SAR on the CDaccording to the above procedure. The SAR archive is in thedirectory CD_DIR/DATA_UNITS/SAP_BS_FND_702/INST/DATAThe file with the name CSN0120061532_0041524.PAT should now bein the directory <DIR_EPS_ROOT>/in.

- In addition, you must download SAP_BS_FOUNDATION SupportPackage(s) from SAP Service Marketplace:

service.sap.com -> Support Packages and Patches -> A -> SAP AUTO-ID INFRASTRUCTURE" -> SAP AII 7.1" -> Entry by Component" -> Auto-IDInfrastructure NW702 -> SAP_BS_FOUNDATION 702 -> Support Packages

5. Performing the installation of AIN or the delta upgrade to AIN710

a.) Including AIN 710 in an Enhancement Package update with SAPehpi

If you have already installed the required Enhancement Package and you areplanning an add-on installation or an add-on upgrade with SAINT, ignorethis section and continue reading under point b).

o The general procedure for the installation is described in theguides for Enhancement Package 2 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 athttps://service.sap.com/erp-inst.

o If AIN 400, 510, or 700 is installed in your system, the relevantproduct version SAP AII 4.0, 2007, or 7.0 is recognized asinstalled with instance "Auto-ID infrastructure" in the maintenanceoptimizer procedure.

o Select the add-on product version "SAP AII 7.1" / Instance "Auto-IDinfrastructure" in the maintenance optimizer procedure as theupgrade target or installation target for the add-on.

o In the phase ADDONKEY_CHK, you are prompted to enter a password forAIN 710. The password is: 1715639.

o For the upgrade of the Java stack (if it exists), see the relevantguide for Enhancement Package 2 of SAP NetWeaver 7.0.

b.) Delta upgrade to AIN 710 or AIN 710 installation with SAINT

authorization. Do NOT use the SAP* or DDIC users.

o Displaying the add-on installation packageCall transaction SAINT and choose "Start" and "Load".After the list of uploaded packages is displayed, you can return tothe initial screen of transaction SAINT by choosing either F3 or"Back".

o Start the installation or the delta upgrade.Call transaction SAINT and choose "Start". Select the Add-On AIN710 and choose "Continue". If all of the necessary conditions forimporting the add-on have been fulfilled, the system will nowdisplay the relevant queue. The queue consists of the installationpackage, and it may also contain Support Packages and Add-OnSupport Packages.To start the installation process, choose "Continue". For moreinformation, call transaction SAINT and choose "Info" on theapplication toolbar.The system prompts you to enter a password.The password is: 7E5FBF1EAF

o For the upgrade of the Java stack (if it exists), see the relevantguide for Enhancement Package 2 of SAP NetWeaver 7.0.

6. After the installation of AIN or the delta upgrade to AIN 710

o Postprocessing in accordance with Note 1549286

- The AIN 710 delivery includes deletions of table entries thathave to be restored during the deployment on ERP. Proceed asdescribed in Note 1549286.

o Importing languages after the installation or the delta upgrade

- If you intend to install additional languages, we recommendthat you install them before you import further SupportPackages. Refer to the "Language support" section.

o Importing Support Packages after the installation or the deltaupgradeThe use of SAP AII 7.1 requires at least Support Package 03 of AIN(and SCEMSRV if it is installed, see Master Guide).

o Delivery Customizing:

- Delivery Customizing is imported into client 000 and may haveto be copied to other clients. For more information, see Note337623.

7. Language support

o In addition to German and English, the following languages aresupported by AIN 710: CS, DA, DE, EN, ES, FI, FR, IT, JA, KO, NL,PL, PT, RU, SV, ZH.

o All language-dependent parts of AIN 710 are contained in the

installation package of the add-on. If the relevant standardlanguage exists in the system when you import AIN, the languagepart of the add-on is automatically imported. You do not have toimport a language transport separately.

o If you import a new standard language into your system after youinstall AIN, you must manually ensure that the relevantlanguage-dependent part of the add-on is imported. For moreinformation, see Note 195442.
