Amkor Technology is currently seeking a Sr Engineer, SAP Basis in our Chandler, AZoffice. The primary functions of this position are to demonstrated senior level abilities for

all aspects of design, engineering, implementation, administration, performance, security,

networking, and documentation with relation to SAP environments such as ERP, BI,

Portal, SRM, XI, GRC, SolMan, and DMS at the data center level, to include team andproject leadership skills. The position is responsible to perform the following duties at

minimum as required, operating in a highly team oriented, proactive, and cost efficient

environment:

Provide word class internal and external customer support

Premise work under standardization and best practice guidelines

Design, develop, implement and test Enterprise disaster recovery procedures

Follow, establish, and devise security process/controls

Adhere to, author, edit, and review documentation policies/procedures/Change

Management

Multi-task and coordinate/negotiate time, people, vendors, hardware andapplication availability

Monitor/Identify Enterprise performance indicators & gather metrics to ensure

SLA compliance

Troubleshoot, diagnose, recommend and implement workable, realistic solutions

Develop new methods and processes contributing to automation

Conduct miscellaneous audits and inventories

Complete independent projects inline with strategic business objectives asapproved

Perform day-to-day SAP systems administration functions

Train and mentor with peers and associates

Weekend and off hours support as required

Requirements:

This position requires a bachelors level degree in computer science (or related field).

The ideal candidate must have at least 4 years progressive experience in database and/or

operating system administration and/or ABAP programming plus 4 years experience inSAP ERP BASIS with new dimensional SAP Netweaver products and specific focus

upon the following areas of expertise: EP/BI /SRM/XI/Sol Mgr/GRC/DMS (preferably

experience in at least 2 of these areas) Enterprise Portal Administration & CustomizationAD / LDAP Integration Portal application development/deployment J2EE Engine / Web

Dynpro / ABAP Concepts SOx audits and requirements Storage Management/Backup &

Recovery as well as Data Archiving Application of OSS Notes / PatchingTroubleshooting ECC modules FI/CO/MM/SD/PP Transport, Printer & Batch JobAdministration SAP Client/Server Upgrades SP s and EHPs Monitoring/Performance

Tuning Project Management It would be helpful to have knowledge of SAP NetWeaver

Developer Studio tools, UNIX/Solaris 10, Oracle Database 10, Experience with EAI(Enterprise Architecture Interface), ALE, EDI, IDOC, and Network Attached Storage.

This position potentially requires 5% domestic and 10% international travel.
