includes land, buildings, equipment, facilities, and improvements found by the board of directors to be required or suitable for use for professional and amateur sports, including children's sports, athletic, entertainment, tourist, convention, and public park purposes and events, including stadiums, ball parks, auditoriums,

Project Continuedamphitheaters, concert halls, parks and park facilities, open space improvements, museums, exhibition facilities, and related store, restaurant, concession, and automobile parking facilities, related area transportation facilities, and related roads, streets, and water and sewer facilities, and other related improvements that enhance any of the items described by this section.

Action RequestedApprove and ratify the City of San Angelo Development's approval of an allocation of up to $1.5 million of the COSADC Economic Development unreserved fund balance account for the construction of a new annex, Phase II of the City Auditorium and authorizing the Director of Economic Development to negotiate a proposed contract with the San Angelo Performing Arts Coalition (SAPAC) for COSADC Board approval and subject to approval of the City Council;contingent on SAPAC’s raising the additional funds of approximately $2.2-$2.5 million necessary to purchase the required FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) and allows the City of San Angelo to execute a contract with Lee Lewis Construction for the construction of the project in accordance with the existing mutual agreement between the City of San Angelo and SAPAC.
