1. Article information


• The main difference between the two options (see arrows) is that in the event of a delivery, the system only displays whether the article is available today, while with the order option, you also see how many will be available in the future.

• On the order search screen you can find several buttons and input fields that help to restrict your search.

• Once you have specified one or more search criteria, you simply have to select which orders the system searches through. You have the option to search for "open orders" or "all orders".

• A table that matches the selection criteria is then shown.

• Open orders: Here, all orders, where no delivery notes are created• All orders: Here, all orders are displayed

How to find new order confirmations and orders with postponements•The "confirmation date" button allows you to find new confirmed orders quickly and easy. •By narrowing down the date, you select all orders that have either an "Original delivery date" (order confirmation date) or a "Confirmed delivery date" (postponements) in the specified timeframe

•In addition, a red X appears in field A for orders that have been postponed.

Display details • This provides you with the details of the previously selected order item. To find

out this information, select an item from the list below and click "Detail". Here you will find information on requested delivery date, delivery date, material, quantity, net value and delivery priority, as well as the text of the item anddocument flow.

• The "Text of item" must be compared with your order; the detailed display should be regarded as an order confirmation, and is therefore considered as accepted unless contradicted.

Display details – document flow• By marking the appropriate column, you will have the opportunity to get invoices,

proforma invoices or informations regarding the delivery

• J Delivery – You have the opportunity to become further informations regarding the delivery, for example the tracking number

Order list in detailSend mail

• Use this function if you have questions regarding items requested by you. In the fields "Sender" and "Recipient", you simply have to check your e-mail address and that of the recipient.

• If not already present, you can enter a subject line in the "Re:" field and compose your message. You can also chose to send a copy of this e-mail to your own e-mail account.

• "Back" button: To exit the e-mail template. All data entered so far will be lost and you will return to the previous page.

• "Send mail" button: To send the message

• This button enables you to download the selected list and save it on your computer or simply open it.

Order list in detailUpdate• In the "Comments" field, the subsidiary can enter notes for internal purposes. If

you click the "Update" button, these notes are saved in the system so that they can be displayed again the next time.

• This button allows you to update the displayed list without having to exit it.

Print preview • Click this button to print your order list. • The print preview is clearly structured and adjusted to page format.

•You have then the possibility to sort the orders alphabetically using the arrow keys in the

columns.

� By double clicking in this position you can see what partial deliveries have been planned. The delivery date of the next outstanding partial delivery is displayed in the column “Confirmed delivery date”. In this example: 26 May 2016.

Yellow flash: Not the whole quantity was confirmed.

� By double clicking in this position it becomes clear that partial deliveries have been planned. But not the whole quantity has been confirmed. As you can see from the details, you will receive a partial delivery at the confirmed delivery date. The date for the remaining quantity still has not been confirmed.

� Attention: If you see a yellow flash and the delivery date cannot been seen then the whole quantity has not been confirmed. This may happen in rare cases.


3. Quality notifications


Types of notifications• The main difference between the two types of notifications is that, in case of a

complaint, there are three possibilities of determining the material. In contrast to this, in case of a notification regarding transport damage, it is only possible to determine the material of delivery.

• However, it also possible for you to view the “Notification list”. First, you have the possibility to limit the relevant time range.


• In the next step, all notifications of this period of time are displayed. At the same time, you can view the details of these quality notifications.

• Notifications marked in green have been completed, without statement.• Notifications marked in blue have been completed, with statement.• Notifications marked in yellow are in progress, with statement of the associated

company.

• If you mark a notification, you can view details and you will have the possibility to attach a “New attachment” once again.

Complaint and transport damage

In case of a complaint, there are three possibilities of creating the relevant data record.

•After confirming by pressing the button you automatically move forward to the next page.

All fields with a “red asterisk” are mandatory fields.

This button is used for completing the notification.

4. Calculation


Access to the online calculation

•Here, you can select a TS enclosure or CM enclosure for calculation or configuration.•For this, you need to expand the subtree, which you do by clicking the arrow.•Here, you can then select e.g. "TS 8 special TS 8" enclosure.


Online calculation• By double clicking the article number (e.g. 7824408) you access the

characteristic value assignment.• It is also possible to define a piece number (order quantity). The quantity

entered here also appears later in the text editor.


Characteristic value assignment initial screen• After the enclosure type has been selected, characteristic value assignment takes

place. This is the specific selection of certain characteristics that the enclosure should have.

You can use the scrollbar to scroll through all the available

characteristics.


Using characteristics/characteristic value assignment

• Values now have to be assigned to all characteristics in accordance with the customer description.You select the characteristics on various tabs.

• On the "Side panel" tab under "Basic Type Design" you first enter the basic type, e.g. "500", which stands for an enclosure with mounting plate.

• Example: A TS 8806 with mounting plate, painted in RAL 7035, must be entered with "500", without mounting plate with "510".

• After you have made your selection from the list of options possible in the area (input help) and confirmed with "Enter" the system automatically determines the product description of the side panel.

• This can now be modified. • The input help is displayed if you press the "i" button. This applies for all

characteristics for which values are to be assigned.


Assignment of values for the "Interior Installation" characteristic

• The values for the the 19" rails and the fastening material are assigned here.• The appropriate 19" rails, fastening material and• the relevant quantity - based on enclosure dimensions - are set as default

values.• The quantity of the rails and fastening material is always in unit piece.• It is also possible to enter the rail installation position.

• Note: Value assignment for the 19" rails has been maintained directly as a tab as 19" is often required.


Assignment of values for the "Configuration" characteristic

• You can now assign a characteristic value for the configuration based on the customer requirement e.g. front division standard > "Front door 1-door, 130°hinged on right".

• You can now select any characteristics here, e.g. rear design not with "rear panel" but "1-door, 130° hinged on right".


Assignment of values for the "Drawing/QP" characteristic

• Here, you can enter the drawing number, any information about complaints, and numbers of QP inspection logs.

• It is also possible to enter information about the required rating plates such as UL.

One special feature: • The output of the language of the TSG text can be controlled here.


"Weight" characteristic

• This provides information about an enclosure weight.• The configurator takes account of all value assignment modifications. In

addition, you can define the weights of any special components manually.


Calculation display• You can now display the result of characteristic value assignment – the display

of the values determined by the system and the calculation >• This is done in two steps. • First, you have to select "Pricing" in the "Other" menu

You then have to click the "CALC" button >The "Rittal Pricing Cockpit" is displayed.

The system now provides two important pieces of information:

1. The SP additional price for the modifications requested by the customer is displayed.

2. The traffic lights display whether the calculation was successful.a) Green/yellow means that the determined additional cost was

determined correctly.b) Red means that the TSG must be involved to determine the

additional cost, i.e. the missing values must be added manually. This is done with the yellow hand.

c) Important: Only additional costs are displayed in the online calculation.

The bottom part of the table describes the modifications calculated by the system.

Change to number of pieces in Rittal Pricing Cockpit• In the bottom left field, the configurator displays the default piece quantities • 1 PC and 5 PC as lot sizes.• You can click the yellow field to enter another piece quantity

From this screen, you can go to the "Accessories" field


Selection of accessories Accessory selection is carried out as follows:- Selection of the material number- Definition of required number of piece- Selection of assembly

- Assembly type (generated automatically after you have defined assembly and pressed "Enter")

• The example shows a TS 8611.070 comfort handle that is to be attached to the front door.

Note: No plausibility check is carried out for accessory selection.

You can exit accessory entry using the "Back" button.


Display of configuration

• After you have completed characteristic value assignment, you can display the configuration using button "show document" in the Rittal Pricing Cockpit.

• The system displays the calculation sheet, the order text• All the characteristics assigned values are displayed in this list.

Simply select the entire text and right click > "Copy" > open a new Word or Exceldocument and paste the text in.Exit the text editor with the "Back" button.

Important note regarding the displayed calculation:Only the additional cost for the modifications is displayed. The enclosure And any selected accessories must be added separately


Exiting the calculation • Press the "Back" button twice to return to characteristic value assignment.• Once you have returned to the characteristic value assignment initial

screen, you must press the "Cancel" button (...because this relates to a simulation without effect...).


Exiting the calculation

• The following confirmation prompt is displayed

• The system asks: "Do You Want to Cancel Configuration?"• Respond with "Yes".


Exiting the calculation

• You then return to the initial screen for the online calculation.

• If you press "Back" again, you exit the OC completely.• You can of course configure another item – simply select another

enclosure type and start the configuration again.


Special features of CM configuration

• CM configuration is in principle carried out in exactly the same way.• There are a few differences compared with the TS configurator, which are due to

the design of the CM enclosure and which are self-explanatory.• For example, you cannot select a 19" mounting angle etc.


5. Price List and article discontionue information

• You use the “Download“ button to go to the price list.

• The actual prices of this month are available from 1st to 15th.• From 16th by the end of the month you have access to the prices for next month.

What do the buttons in my selection mean?

Display details

• Here you get details on the previously selected contract item. To do so, select an item from the list below and click on “Detail”. There you will find information on the end of validity, overall status, material, quantity, net value, etc., as well as the text on the item and the Document flow.

• The “Text for item” must be compared with your query.



Send mail

• If you have questions regarding the items you wanted, you should use this function. In the fields “Sender” and “Recipient” you need only check your email address and that of the recipient.

• If not present, enter a subject in the reference field (Re:) and write your message. You also have the option of sending a copy of this email to your own email address.

• “Back” button: To leave the email template. All previously entered data are lost, and you return to the previous page.

• “Send mail” button: To send the message.



Download• Use this button to download the selected list, store it on your computer, or

simply open it.
