SAP SKILLS FORUM 2017

Opening and Keynote Road to SAP S/4HANA

O Opening by SAP Education UKI K Exclusive Insight into the Future

Strategy of SAP

Get exclusive insights and discover how

new innovative technologies can help you

transform your existing business and prepare

for the digital economy.

A business transformation requires

adoption of new technologies like real-time

architecture, cloud, and in-memory, as the

success in the new world is built on new value

levers.

Get inspirations from use cases and business

cases for the future of business and how

operations will change in the upcoming

SAP Cloud Platform is the enterprise

platform-as-a-service with comprehensive

application development services and

capabilities. It enables customers to achieve

business agility, create a truly integrated

and optimized enterprise, and accelerate

digital transformation across the business

– all without the requirement of maintaining

choose from 1000+ prebuilt applications from

SAP partners that integrate seamlessly with

SAP applications. Bring together entire IT

landscapes, build IoT or Big Data applications

is an open, flexible, on-demand integration

system running as a core service on SAP

Cloud Platform. In this session the instructor

will build a sample Integration Flow that

demonstrates these features.

D02 The SAP Activate Methodology

The SAP Activate Methodology is a modular

and agile framework for implementing or

migrating to SAP S/4HANA. It builds on its

predecessors: ASAP methodology and SAP

Launch methodology, and is based on four

phases: Prepare, Explore, Realize and Deploy.

The methodology contains accelerators for

each implementation phase and work stream.

These include templates, questionnaires,

checklists, guidebooks and other tools to

facilitate a consistent and repeatable SAP

implementation and/or upgrade. In this

session we will review the four phases and

examples of where you might use templates

to capture delta requirements, structure

fit/gap workshops or design a system

architecture.

D03 SAP Solution Manager Quick Wins

s

Does the implementation of SAP best

practices and the associated tools for

managing the lifecycle of your solutions seem

to be an overly long process?

Come and discover, the return on investment

provided by “Quick Wins” such as Automatic

SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Management

D05 Overview of SAP S/4HANA Finance

s

With the SAP S/4HANA Finance solution,

the offices of the CFO and CIO have an

unprecedented opportunity to drive financial

transformation together. SAP S/4HANA

Finance is more than just a set of new

features. SAP took its comprehensive, global

financial solution and rearchitected it to take

full advantage of SAP HANA. The result is a

dramatic reduction of the complexity that

finance departments face every day and

support for the full finance value map.

D06 Migration to SAP S/4HANA

Finance

This session sets the focus for the steps

involved when migrating to an SAP S/4HANA

Finance solution.

D07 SAP S/4HANA Central Finance

SAP’s goal with S/4HANA Finance was

to simplify and streamline the financial

data structure and to simplify the financial

processes. The challenge remains of how to

take a diverse IT infrastructure and transition

to the SAP S/4HANA Finance environment.

This is accomplished with the Central

Finance function. The key behind the

Central Finance function is to break out the

Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) processes

in non-S/4HANA systems and bring that

data into the Central S/4HANA system. It

allows real-time replication of data into the

Universal Journal. Is accomplished by using

current tools like SLT – SAP Landscape

Transformation to transfer data between

systems, and MDG- Master Data Governance

to harmonize that data into one format to post

into the Universal Journal. It can combine

data from both SAP and non-SAP system into

the S/4HANA . The Central Finance process

allows a customer to start the transition to

S/4HANA by using a phased implementation

approach, while still enjoying the benefits of

S/4HANA Finance.

HE01 SAP HANA Modeling Overview

Join this session to experience how SAP

Integrated Business Planning can help you

plan your company’s demand, inventory

levels, And supply, in your sales and

operations planning while monitoring the

process. This session will describe SAP

Integrated Business Planning as well as User

Access, Analytics and Alerts and Planning

Demand, Inventory and Supply This hands-

on session will allow you to use the tool to do

specific planning tasks.

applications available, but no matter how

many are eventually delivered, there will

always be a scenario where you need to

develop your own. This session will cover

the components, processes and tools use to

both develop your own SAP Fiori application,

and to extend existing Fiori applications to

make them fit your needs. The full process

from developing or redefining an OData

service through to building or extending the

Fiori application UI will be covered. Get an

understanding of what the developers are

talking about so you can provide meaningful

input into the next Fiori Application design

meetings.

D13 Operational Reporting in real-time

with SAP S/4HANA Embedded

Analytics

SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics is a

collection of tools and business content

that is fully integrated into SAP S/4HANA.

classic BW but provides more advanced

features that support the building of a heavily

virtualized data warehouse with access to

any type of data in any location. Come to

this session to get up to speed and see some

demonstrations of BW/4HANA in action.

D15 SAP HANA 2.0 Overview s

s

SAP HANA 2.0 builds on the success of HANA

1.0 but includes many new and innovative

features that support the building of large-

scale, in-memory applications that can be

in both on-premise and cloud deployments.

With HANA 2.0, SAP have completely

redesigned the development and deployment

architectures and introduced new user

interfaces for developers and data modelers.

Anyone who works with SAP HANA should

understand how this impacts them. Come to

this session to ensure you are up to date with

SAP’s most important in-memory platform

release.
