1. SQ02 – Info set Initial Screen – Download from main System

Functionality This Training manual is design to give understanding about how to move SQ02 design report

from one system to another system.

First we download the Query from main system where the query designed. Logon the system /

client where the info set/set designed.

Menu Path SAP Menu > Tools > Utilities > SAP Query > Info set.

After executing the transaction either through menu tree or T-code (SQ02) following screen will

appear.

For the first time ever login, we have to set the Query Area, Standard Query (client area)

through,

Selection Standard Area and (Client –specific) and click on .

Then Client specific designed queries / info set list will appears, copy specific /required info set -

query which need to be download, and click from the screen at Icon bar.

Adjust / set the parameter on the following screen as;

End the Required Info set/Query name in the above mention field. And remain the rest of

parameter as shown in screen.

After setting all parameter accordingly, click on the execute button . System will ask for the

Directory / Location where to download the file, give appropriate location and click on “Save”,

button.

2. SQ02 – Info set Initial Screen – Upload to Target System

Functionality Now user has to logon to the target system/client, for upload the required info set/query.

Frist four (4) steps are same as for download (from Menu to Transport Tool Screen). After

getting the Transport screen. Now set parameter as;

Now here Transport Action Selection should be “Upload” insist of “Download”. Rest of

parameter remains same as in next screen shot.

Click on the Execution button , system will pop up the window for select the file from specific

location (where you save the query file during download). Select specific file and click “OPEN”

button and turn to original screen.

System will pop up SAP GUI Security to access the required file, select “Allow this One Time”

and press “OK”.

System will Import the required file, and give final screen with the message of information,

Warning, Error. Review that screen accordingly. There are few important which need to be

consider before upload the file to the target system,

User group should be exists in target system as like in main system from where file

download.

During upload process, system also uploads the Query (SQ01) to execute the report. But

sometime the design / structure of Report output may not remain same as in main

system where report output deigned.
